Itinerario

We got an in-depth tour of missions with lots of info about history of missions, architecture and symbolic significance of buildings and contents, info about the church history and San Antonio itself. Our guide Nancy was an expert.
The tour was very comprehensive. We got great information about the history of the missions and the current status of the churches. Our guide Nancy was very knowledgeable and made it a point to get our input. Very good tour
We had an amazing experience with our tout guide 'Nancy' she was very nice and she knew all of the history of San Antonio and even more. She could respond at each question you had. I recomend this mission tour for everybody and specially a tour with our guide Nancy. This was one of the best highlights of my trip to San Antonio.
Nancy has a great sense of knowledge about the Missions! I learned some interesting facts. She provided ample time to take in the site and appreciate the symbols and significance of the church. She has a great personality and was engaging throughout the tour! Thanks for a great experience Nancy!!!
Nancy was warm and knowledgeable and made the whole experience very vivid! Highly recommended. She went above and beyond with her storytelling and recommendations. Enjoyed the tour with her tremendously
Request Nancy. She was, hands down, the best historical tour guide we’ve ever had in our travels. Her breadth of knowledge is expansive and she is well informed and well read on many topics beyond this particular subject matter, making her an excellent conversationalist as well as cultural guide. She knows everyone on the tours so that gave us an insider glimpse into the lives of people who work at the mission sites. I don’t know if we would have had as much fun with another guide. We learned so much! We also loved that she came prepared with big spray, water, and took photos of our family and followed up with links to further research and personal photo collages. Her passion and presentation made me want to convert to Catholicism!!
😄 The insider access to the people who work the mission sites, the depth of knowledge that stretches well beyond the tour itself, and a presentation so compelling it has guests reconsidering their faith is about as high a compliment as a guide can receive. Requesting her by name is absolutely the right call.
Our guide was Nancy. She was very pleasant, knowledgeable and accommodating. We were lucky to have just myself and my friend on the tour. Both of us appreciated her accommodations considering the extreme heat, humidity and amount of walking involved. Nancy made the history of the missions, the era and development of the region very interesting and informative. We both felt it was time and money well spent.
Nancy picked me up when she was supposed to. I toured the missions and the World Heritage Center. I was given alot of information about the missions and the purpose they served. If you want to know about the missions and understand their purpose, its a must see.
Nancy's knowledge of the missions and their deeper purpose clearly made this so much more than just a sightseeing stop, exactly the kind of insight that makes a visit truly stick! 🕌
We took a guided tour of the San Antonio Missions with Nancy from Seesight, and it was hands-down the best historical tour I have ever experienced! From the very beginning, her passion and extensive knowledge of the area's history were immediately clear. What made this tour particularly brilliant was the reverse-order route. Starting at the southernmost missions and working our way north, she structured the itinerary so we started with the smaller, more incomplete sites (like Mission Espada) and built up to the fully restored grandeur of the larger missions (like Mission San Jose). This progression made the storytelling incredibly compelling, as you could physically see the scale and architecture grow while learning how the mission system evolved.Nancy’s storytelling is top-notch. She doesn't just recite dry facts; she weaves together the rich cultural tapestry of early Texas, the Spanish settlers, and the Native American communities in a way that is vivid and deeply moving. She is personable, patient with all of our questions, and ensures everyone in the group is comfortable and engaged. If you are visiting San Antonio, this is a must-do. I highly recommend requesting Nancy.
Nancy's reverse order route idea is genuinely brilliant and future guests should know that approach transforms the whole storytelling arc of the missions in a way you simply cannot get from a standard itinerary! 🏛️ The way she weaves together Spanish, Native American and early Texas history into something vivid and moving rather than just facts is the mark of a truly exceptional guide.
Yikes! Tour lacked accuracy and depth of knowledge. Found out guide Nancy is not a professional guide and checked information she was saying on the tour and definite inaccuracy. Van was clean, but tight fit. Did not love this experience.
This is not the standard we hold ourselves to and we are sorry the experience fell short in such a significant way. Inaccurate information during a tour is something we take very seriously and want to investigate properly. Please reach out to us directly so we can look into this and make sure it is addressed. 🙏
