We had an amazing time, playing the phoenix escapely! My friend and I have done about 6 escape rooms, and 10 boxed escape rooms. We agree that this was a great experience. We loved that the hints started slow and progressed. We appreciated the nudge, a hint would give us. (There are 3- 5 hints per puzzle, which allows this to be as challenging as you want, yet still totally possible for more novice game players.) It took us 3 hours to complete with just a quick water break. I hope to play another Escapely game in my home state of Ohio. Highly recommend! Suggestion: Bring a small backpack to hold game pieces while walking around town.

We absolutely recommend Escapley's Outdoor Escape Room in Downtown Phoenix! We've done many, many escape room games all over the valley and this may be our favorite. Its walk around the heart of downtown is a refreshing and fun alternative to a traditional escape room, and the game's unique approach to clues definitely elevated the game for us. The whole experience was top notch in all categories. Afterwards, we were able to enjoy one of the many good restaurants downtown. We will absolutely do this or another Escapely adventure again.

We played this for my wife's birthday. We opened the box at Bitter and Twisted and also enjoyed a few cocktails and some snacks. We played with 5 people and found that the puzzles were just right in difficulty. We did have to use a few hints here and there but overall we really enjoyed the experience. Everyone in our party said they had a great time and the game was a lot of fun. We are hoping they release a second Phoenix game so we can play again.

we had a great time on a Saturday evening in downtown phoenix. the use of local art and history played very well into the game. looking forward to more adventures from this company

We had an excellent time with the Phoenix box. The difficulty level was just fine for us. We had to use the hints for some of the clues and the hint system was very easy to use. We liked that it didn't give us the whole answer right away, just a helping hand to point us in the right direction. Our favorite part of the game was that the walkability of the area selected for the game allowed us to go at our own pace and see other sites along the way. As an example, when we were at the clue by the Phoenix police museum, we went in there on a whim and we spent an hour there and learned some cool facts that we would have never learned about Phoenix and its police history. There were plenty of outdoor seats when we had to figure out clues and also the great availability of getting food or using the restroom was huge for us. We liked the wide variety of locations used for the clues as well as the variety of clues themselves. We will definitely purchase boxes when we travel in the future! We had a lot of fun! It was very obvious to us that the company had taken time and effort to really investigate the area and it made our experience very memorable.

We LOVED the game!! Participants were : Me age 65 My Husband age 60 Our daughter and her fiance..both age 29 Our son and his girlfriend...both age 25 Everyone was very engaged. My husband commented after the game that the clues were just right in terms of difficulty...not too easy and not too hard. Our favorite part was getting to see different parts of Phoenix. We live in Scottsdale, which is about 15 miles away from downtown Phoenix. We rarely venture to downtown Phoenix, so it was fun to explore the city on foot. We also liked trying the ice cream and cookie dough at the Yard Milkshake bar (starting point). And of course any activity that my entire family can do together and everyone likes...that is a WIN in my book!!

We thoroughly enjoyed the adventure! We found the puzzles challenging yet not extremely difficult. Our group of 5 family members ranging from 14 to 58 all contributed to solving the clues and each puzzle allowed different players to lead and demonstrate spy skills. A definite winner for us!

Rachael! Oh my goodness! This was an absolute blast. I was tasked with finding a team building event for our team of 8 with a low budget. Through a Google search "fun things to do in Phoenix for team building" I came across Escapely. I had to find something to appease 8 different people and you know how that can be! We are all different demographically ( old/ young, active/ not so much). It was tough to get a few of the guys on board as they are just reluctant to engage in team building. But by the end of the hunt, we had everybody fully engaged and having a blast. It wasn't too hard, and absolutely not too easy. I think it took us about 2 and 1/2 hours to complete. This was such a good escape room, venture out into downtown and team building event. I couldn't have asked for anything better! Thank you so much for putting this on. I had another peer asking what other cities that you had built this in, I showed him the website and was amazed at all the cities that Escapely has adventures in! This was an overall amazing adventure whether it's as a team building, group of friends or even a family/kids event!

OMG I did this with my wife, daughter and son in law or my birthday, we started near a really great coffee shop and had some good coffee for the walk. very very fun. we have done several indoor escape rooms as well, this was better, the walk and fresh air. I even learned a few new things about Phoenix, this from a guy who has been here 56 years !! highly recommend this !! we may actually try one in Vegas next month too

The friends and I that did this outdoor escape room are huge escape room fans, so we were excited to turn our city into an escape room and it did not disappoint! We got some great exercise and had fun exploring downtown while also solving escape room-like clues. We thought the clues would be easy, especially since we’ve done our fair share of escape rooms, but they were actually quite challenging! Pro tip, bring a notepad to write things down or work through clues! The instructions were clear and the directions to each of the next clues were easy to understand. Such a great way to explore a new city or one you already live in!
