La reserva privada de Bandia constituye una pequeña joya del éxito ecológico por la sorprendente regeneración de su flora y la reintroducción de grandes mamíferos africanos, en ocasiones desaparecidos durante siglos, bajo la presión demográfica y la caza furtiva. Se encuentra a 65 km de Dakar y a 15 km de Saly-Portudal (balneario de la "pequeña costa") en la carretera principal (N1) que va a Mbour.

The timely pickup and transfer were positive. Upon arriving at the park, I had to discuss via WhatsApp for about 30 minutes with the organizer to receive the booked services. What a pity. Too much hassle for a half-day tour; perhaps because I was traveling alone as a woman. The park was beautiful. In the end, I did receive everything as booked. I regularly book through Tripvisor; however, I would not choose the organizer again. That was unprofessional.

Safari in Bandia Reserve In a 4x4, we travel through the forest of baobabs and acacias to discover giraffes 🦒, monkeys 🙊, zebras 🦓, gazelles, birds, rhino couple 🦏.... The guide takes the time to explain, answer our questions. For 2 hours, but it passes very quickly, we had time to take many beautiful photos and videos The reserve is very well maintained, the animals are peaceful. In short, it is very beautiful and we recommend this visit It will remain a very nice memory 😍
The tour was fantastic. A driver picked us up on time and we went straight to the Bandia Reserve. We were greeted by the Reserve driver who organised our guide. We were on a Jeep without other people which was perfect - some trucks were big with many tourists on them. Our guide was knowledgeable and we saw all animal types on the reserve. We were impressed with the tour and how well organised it was. Excellent communication throughout.

With my husband, we do not want to take a bus tour, grouped with the other tourists of the Pension and prefer to go to the locals. The scenery and animals were fabulous. There was harmony between visitors and the environment. What would change would be the vehicles that seemed very polluting to me and smelled a lot of fuel.
Our driver didnt Show up to pick us up. The telephone Number we had was Not working. I even sent a mail to confirm the Pick up Time a couple days before the Safari and Never Received an answer! So i definetly can Not recommend This!
Mr. I am sorry that you were not able to do your safari. On site when your cruise ship docked your driver waited for you for two hours on site with the sign in your name. We tried to contact you by your mobile phone. Nevertheless we We apologize for this misunderstanding and hope to be able to serve you better during your next stay in Senegal.
