Safari en jeep 4x4 en Madeira: Porto Moniz, piscinas de lava y bosque de Fanal
Descripción
Nuestra aventura en 4x4 comienza en Cabo Girão, el famoso "SKYWALK", el segundo acantilado más alto de Europa con una increíble altura de 580 metros. Continuamos por carreteras sinuosas hasta Ribeira Brava, donde destaca la Iglesia de São Bento, del siglo XVI, que ofrece impresionantes vistas sobre el océano. A continuación llegamos a Ponta do Sol, el lugar más soleado de la isla, rodeado de espectaculares acantilados. Ascendemos a Paul da Serra, la única meseta de Madeira, a menudo envuelta en niebla, que contrasta con las exuberantes zonas costeras. Bajando llegamos a Porto Moniz, famoso por sus piscinas naturales de lava. A lo largo de la costa, Ribeira da Janela encanta con sus columnas de basalto. En Seixal admiramos la playa de arena negra y las piscinas naturales de aguas cristalinas. Terminaremos en Câmara de Lobos, el pueblo de pescadores visitado por Churchill, antes de brindar por la rica tradición vinícola de Madeira en la bodega Henriques & Henriques, redondeando un día inolvidable.

Itinerario
Después de la recogida haremos la primera parada en Miradouro do Pico da Torre, donde podrás disfrutar de la maravillosa bahía de Câmara de lobos, seguida de un todoterreno.
Con 580 metros de altura, Cabo Girão es el promontorio más alto de Europa, pero esa no es la única razón por la que se ha vuelto cada vez más famoso en todo el mundo. Su mirador, con la famosa plataforma de cristal suspendida —llamada skywalk— es actualmente uno de los atractivos turísticos más visitados (y seguramente más fotografiados) del municipio de Câmara de Lobos y del archipiélago de Madeira.
Ribeira Brava es conocida por su extenso valle, descubierto en el siglo XV, con un clima estupendo para el plátano y la caña de azúcar.
Tras dejar Ribeira Brava, pasaremos por Ponta de Sol para admirar el pueblo que fue un importante punto de referencia para las exportaciones a finales del siglo XIX. Después de eso pararemos para tomar café, baño y todo lo que los clientes necesiten.
Con un paisaje natural único, Paul da Serra es un punto de interés único en la isla de Madeira. Es la meseta montañosa más grande de todo el archipiélago. Se trata, por tanto, de uno de los puntos de interés más relevantes (e imperdibles) del municipio de Ponta do Sol. Con una altitud media de 1500 metros, Paul da Serra ofrece vistas impresionantes sobre los picos montañosos y los profundos valles que marcan el entorno. En días con buena visibilidad es posible divisar el litoral de la costa sur y la costa norte. El paisaje, sin embargo, está dominado por los tonos verdes de la naturaleza.
Situado entre las sierras de Seixal y Ribeira da Janela, Fanal es una vasta zona forestal que invita a disfrutar con tranquilidad de lo mejor que la Naturaleza tiene para ofrecer. Este idílico espacio es uno de los lugares más emblemáticos del municipio de Porto Moniz, albergando un patrimonio paisajístico de gran belleza.
Haremos una maravillosa parada en Ribeira da Janela con un camino hacia una pequeña cueva donde tendrás una espléndida vista panorámica del Atlántico azul.
Pararemos en Porto Moniz para almorzar, donde podrás pasear y disfrutar de uno de los lugares más bonitos de nuestra isla. (EL TIEMPO EN ESTA UBICACIÓN PUEDE VARIAR)
Deténgase para admirar la maravillosa playa natural de arena negra.
Al final del día, regresamos a Câmara de Lobos a la fábrica de vino de Madeira, donde tendremos una degustación de los deliciosos vinos de Madeira. (SOLO DE LUNES A VIERNES)

Did a full day safari tour of Madeira island with Miguel from Warriors Adventure. Cabao Girao, Fanal Forest, Porto Moniz with wine tasting and several other lovely stops as well. Miguel made sure that we were well looked after and everything ran smoothly.

A great experience for a solo traveler with only a few days to see the island. We saw so many things, while also having time to explore and relax. On Madeira where it is so hard to get around, doing this tour is a must and the history and insider info/stops were an added bonus.

Complete tour of the west. In Fanal I think we spent too little time. If you want to swim in the natural pools you have to bring a picnic for lunch otherwise there won't be time. Professional company and good driver Miguel Franco

We had been staying in Funchal, and thought that with the price of taxis and the length of time buses take, we wouldn’t be able to see many of the sights on the west or north of the island. Fortunately we found Miguel’s tour. The value for money was fantastic, Miguel was a very informative tour guide who genuinely cares about the quality of tour. He knows a lot about the island and ensures that everybody has a safe and enjoyable trip. The pick up was exactly on time and the fact that he comes to pick you up and drop you off after the tour is excellent. It was a fantastic day that allowed us to enjoy the island in all its beauty and he ensured we had sufficient time at every location, but not too much where we got bored or ran out of things to do. I would highly recommend going with Miguel for the tour.
