The combo was a great experience. We took the private tour with the ATV so we were able to go at our own pace, fast or slow. The trail around the beach for both the ATV and camels gave us wonderful views of the landscape and ocean. After the camel ride, we were able to interact with a camel and feed it. At the free tequila tasting, the bar tender was knowledgable and very friendly. We did not feel pressured at all to purchase anything. Our guide Juanito was fantastic.
Hi Daniel! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Thank you so much for this fantastic review! Upgrading to the private run is definitely the way to go if you want total freedom to set your own speed and really soak in those coastal desert views. Getting up close to feed our rescue camels is always a highlight, and we're so glad you enjoyed that hands-on moment. We also love hearing that you enjoyed the vibe in the tequila room—our goal is simply to share some great agave knowledge and good times with zero pressure. Juanito will be incredibly pumped to get your shoutout! Thanks for choosing us for your Cabo adventure, and we'd love to host you again anytime! 🐪🌵🍹
Our tour guide was manny , there were four of us. He was assigned to two Spanish people and two of us.( A American) the two Spanish people were prioritized Please be aware that the UTV is a regular experience, there’s barely an excitement Also you do not ride the camels directly on the beach camels are very tired, so the camel toe is not as exciting. Please make sure you ask for an exciting tour guide to make your experience way better than mine., You are not allowed to take pictures sitting in the hand that you pass by to go to the camels The tequila tasting is two 1/2 size shots not a fun experience at all would not recommend this to anyone. Definitely wish this was something I did not book.. as an American traveling over here I can’t say that common courtesy is not prioritize even though we’re the one spending our money to make this place go around
As an older Man you need to stretch before you ride on the camel…. For me it was not comfortable … but it was a different experience
Fun and enjoyable. We really had a great time doing this activity. Would recommend to anyone. Tour guide was really fun!
The actual activities were amazing. The staff tries to nickel and dime you to death. There is a $25 per person entry fee and they don’t allow you to bring your phone under any circumstances. You have to lock it up in the lockers. I’m sure it’s to buy their pictures. They stop at the beach but you are not allowed to go near the water to dip your feet. Weird because it’s a public beach. The facility is beautiful.
Hi Kim, Thank you for sharing your feedback. We are thrilled to hear that you found the actual activities amazing and that you enjoyed our beautiful facility! We want to address your concerns so future guests understand the "why" behind our park rules. Regarding the $25 park fee, we strive to keep our base tour price as competitive as possible. To do this, certain operational park fees are handled separately at check-in, which is noted in the "What's Excluded" and "Important Information" sections on Viator before booking. Regarding cell phones, this strict policy is entirely for safety and animal welfare, not a sales tactic. Taking a phone out during a bumpy UTV ride is a distraction hazard, and dropping a phone while riding the camels can easily startle the animals. The lockers are provided to keep your belongings safe while you ride. While a third-party photography service is available, it is completely optional. Finally, regarding the beach: the Pacific side of Cabo is notorious for strong, unpredictable undertows and rogue waves. Even dipping your feet can be extremely dangerous. Our guides restrict access to the water's edge strictly for your absolute safety. We truly appreciate your visit and are glad that, overall, the adventure and the activities themselves were amazing. Best regards,
We had a wonderful experience with Cactus Tour company. We drove the UTV through a desert that’s on a beach. It was beautiful and very fun. The camel ride was really nice, we felt like royalty and our guide Juan was amazing. After all the fun we were able to taste several tequilas. I don’t drink but my husband tried 4 different ones.
Hi Crenese, ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Thank you so much for this wonderful review! We are absolutely delighted to hear that your experience with our team was so memorable. The contrast of the desert meeting the ocean is truly one of the most beautiful sights here in Baja, and we are thrilled you had such a fun time exploring it on the UTV. Making you feel like royalty is exactly the experience we aim for on our camel rides! Juan is an incredible guide who genuinely loves sharing these amazing animals with our guests, and we will be sure to pass your kind words along to him. We are also glad your husband enjoyed the tequila tasting! It’s a wonderful way to relax and learn a bit about the local culture after an adventure-filled day, even if you are just there to enjoy the atmosphere and the great company. Thank you for choosing us for your adventure. We would be absolutely honored to welcome you both back for another beautiful day on the beach in the future! Warm regards,
It was a fun trip!!! Pickup and drop off were really easy. We upgraded from a group package to VIP, which gave us a better chance to try more rides and more time to actually enjoy everything. It is definitely pricey and takes up a big chunk of your day, but overall it felt worth it and it’s a unique experience. They will try to upsell you on add-ons, and they don’t allow photos on the camel unless you pay extra. Since we did VIP, we just took some selfies and called it a day. It’s a full operation, and if you don’t mind spending an extra couple hundred dollars, you’ll end up having a noticeably better experience.
Hi Shavya, ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Thank you for sharing your candid feedback regarding your recent adventure with us. We are pleased to hear that the VIP upgrade provided the pacing and depth you were looking for to make the experience truly memorable. Our goal is always to deliver a premium, seamless operation, and we appreciate you noting the value of the logistics and the unique nature of the tour. We also value your honest input regarding our service structure and package policies; feedback like yours is essential as we continuously refine our procedures to ensure we are offering the highest standard of service for our guests. We are glad you were able to capture your own moments and that, overall, you walked away with a fun and worthwhile experience. We would be honored to welcome you back again in the future. Warm regards,
The excursion excursions was a blast. The Camel ride the utv and tequila tasting . Now even though you paid for the excursion when you get there, there will be a $25 park entrance fee which is noted and there will be a $45 insurance fee per vehicle. In the Notes, it says that you can opt out and do a hold on the credit card but the hold is $1000. So you’re forced to pay the $45 insurance. They will try to get you to book the private tour which for us came up to $58 a person that was included the insurance plus the $25 park entry fee. they say the private tour is better because you can take your stuff and you can take your own pictures but if you want to take group pictures, they won’t take any pictures for you. And the pictures that their photographer take you can buy at the end but the total package for the pictures is $225. . I wouldn’t say it’s a rip off but this excursion is about $200 after all fees
Hi Tyra, thank you for your feedback. We’re glad you had a blast on the camels and UTVs. We appreciate your comments regarding the additional fees and photo packages, as they help us better communicate our pricing structure to future guests. We value your visit.
This is a scam with hidden fees . We had to pay an additional hundred dollars when u arrive it’s so many fees it’s crazy . The tequila tasting is more talking barely tasting theyre gone give u 1/3 of a shot nothing more . Total disappointment. Photos were 100 dollars
Hi Briana, thank you for sharing your feedback with us. We are glad you had the chance to visit, though we’re sorry to hear the experience didn't meet your expectations. Regarding the costs, the $100 mentioned corresponds to the standard $25 park entrance fee for the 4 guests in your group; this is a mandatory fee for everyone entering the reserve and is noted in the tour description, the booking confirmation, and at check-in. We strive to be as transparent as possible so our guests can plan ahead, and we appreciate your comments as they help us keep improving our communication.
Recommend private tour. Small group, the guide very attentive. You can take your own cell phones for your own photos. The photo package costs $140 plus tax. The place is immaculate. Food and beverages available for purchase. My teenage boys loved it.
Hi Tom! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Thank you so much for the recommendation! We are thrilled to hear your teenage boys had such a great time with the camels and UTVs. It’s great that you enjoyed the attentive service of our guides and took advantage of our 'cell phone friendly' policy for your own memories. We take great pride in keeping our facilities immaculate for our guests, and we’re glad it stood out to you. Hope to see you and your family back for another adventure soon! 🐪🌵🏁
