El paisaje volcánico del interior montañoso de Fuerteventura va mucho más allá de sus soleadas playas. Y no hay mejor manera de recorrer este accidentado terreno que con esta excursión de un día completo en 4x4. Saliendo de la carretera por pistas cerradas, te toparás con los paisajes lunares del Roque de Moro, uno de los picos volcánicos más altos de la isla. Aquí, tendrás vistas impresionantes de la azotada costa oeste antes de descender a Cofete. Este pueblo casi abandonado alberga la misteriosa Villa de Invierno, de la que se rumorea que fue un escondite nazi después de la Segunda Guerra Mundial. Habrá una parada para tomar fotografías en la playa de Cofete y, si el tiempo acompaña, tiempo adicional en la playa de la costa este, antes de dirigirte a El Puertito. La oportunidad perfecta para echar un vistazo, nadar o comer algo. La última parada del día es en Punta de Jandía, el extremo sur de Fuerteventura. Párese en el borde de la isla, donde el océano se encuentra con el cielo, y finalice el recorrido disfrutando de las impresionantes vistas.

This half-day trip takes us on a bus tour to discover inaccessible corners. From lunar landscapes in the interior to coastal panoramas on the open horizon, including one near the observation and torture centre used by the Nazis during the Second World War. You will also discover different geological layers that formed the island of FUERTEVENTURA. To do preferably in the morning to avoid the crowds of tourists who make this outing in 4x4.
Good excursion overall. Unfortunately there was a lot of cloud and a little rain (drizzle) but short-lived. The guide was friendly and he gave us several interesting information about the island and the beach. The road is winding and dirt. Several take their rental cars but we met two vehicles that had a flat tire. I recommend the excursion to avoid hassle. It is important to note that when I booked I had the option of a French speaking guide. Unfortunately this was not the case. It should be checked whether this option was actually available. But we remain satisfied.
This tour was the highlight of our trip to Fuertaventura. Here we saw the most stunning views we have ever seen anywhere! The guides are very knowledgeable and make the experience even better! And to top it off, we watched the sunset over the ocean with a glass of wine. Book it! Don’t miss out!
