Descripción
Este safari de medio día en el Parque Nacional Minneriya le dará la oportunidad de presenciar una gran cantidad de elefantes de Sri Lanka que se sienten atraídos por los campos de hierba en los bordes del embalse durante la estación seca. El tanque Minneriya contribuye a mantener una gran manada. Los elefantes reunidos aquí son alrededor de 150-200. Algunos informes cuentan el número de elefantes hasta 700. Emigran aquí desde el Parque Nacional Wasgamuwa y se benefician de la comida y el refugio del bosque del parque. Los turistas visitan Minneriya en gran parte debido a los elefantes, especialmente en la estación seca.

A su llegada al parque, podrá disfrutar de un memorable safari en jeep de 3 horas con nuestro equipo. Se informa que el Parque Nacional Minneriya es la mayor reunión de elefantes asiáticos salvajes conocida en un lugar del mundo. Las especies faunísticas del parque nacional incluyen 24 especies de mamíferos, 160 especies de aves, 9 especies de anfibios, 25 especies de reptiles, 26 especies de peces y 75 especies de mariposas. Este safari de medio día en el Parque Nacional de Minneriya te da la oportunidad de ver 100 elefantes salvajes a la vez. Después del safari, lo llevarán de regreso a su hotel en Dambulla.

I visited Sri Lanka for two weeks and absolutely loved it! The people were super friendly and the food was delicious. If you're into wildlife safaris, I highly recommend Minneriya it’s the perfect spot, especially for elephant lovers ❤️
Our hostel ”New Dambulla city hostel” arranged a safari jeep to pick us up at the hostel and drove us straight to the safari. The safari was great and we saw alot of amazing elephants which was a really nice experience!

Hello, early in the morning we start the safari. We were picked up in front of our hostel. (The Dambulla City Hostel, a beautiful place where we had a good time). After that, the guide showed us beautiful places in the minneriya park. We also saw lots of elephants! That was really amazing to come them that close. :) The guide was very friendly & we also got a lunchbox at the beginning of the tour.
