Descubra una de las partes más aisladas del Hardangerfjord en un safari de RIB para grupos pequeños desde Norheimsund. El fiordo Samlafjord es una sección más amplia del fiordo Hardangerfjord con una gran vista hacia las montañas y pequeños pueblos a lo largo del fiordo.
Kvamsøy tiene una estación meteorológica del Instituto Meteorológico que envía datos meteorológicos cuatro veces al día a todo el mundo, una llamada estación sinóptica. La estación meteorológica se encuentra en Austerhaugen. También hay una pequeña baliza, que todavía está en funcionamiento, en este montículo. Hay varios túmulos funerarios tanto en Kvamsøy como en Tjuvholmen, y se han hecho descubrimientos de autobuses tanto en la Edad de Bronce como en la Edad de Hierro, entre otras partes de un hacha de bronce.
El primer puente colgante que cruza el fiordo de Hardanger que se inauguró en 1937.
El ramal del fiordo Fyksesund tiene 11 km de largo y tiene la parte más estrecha de todo el fiordo Hardangerfjord. Esta es una hermosa rama de fiordo a medio camino a través del fiordo Hardangerfjord que tiene bonitas laderas empinadas y muchas cascadas pequeñas.

Definitely worth it. We had an amazing experience and had a chance to go super fast through wakes on the fjord. Really fun. Our guide was very nice and shared info about the fjord. It was really scenic and beautiful to see fyksesund this way - an otherwise inaccessible area of hardangerfjord.

Fantastic trip with friendly guide, who gave information about the area and also drove the boat just right, fast enough to give us a thrill but feeling totally safe. We came off the boat grinning. Was a bit worried it wouldn’t be worth the bus ride from Bergen, but the bus ride was easy and comfortable and the tour perfectly timed to fit around the bus schedule. Was also worried it wouldn’t be too cold in February, but the kit supplied kept us super warm.

Travelled by bus from Bergen in a very snowy Norway. Our Rib safari was fantastic, fresh, cold but utterly stunning and our guide was great and very knowledgeable about the small towns we visited. One of the reasons we booked was to get up close with the waterfalls when we got to them they were completely frozen! Which was even more spectacular than could have imagined. We lucked out with the weather, flat calm in the small fjord branches, breathtaking! thanks so much for out trip and thanks to our guide!

We booked this trip because we wanted a completely different way to experience the fjords, and it certainly did not disappoint. Seeing the stunning Norwegian landscape from the water gave us a totally unique perspective that you simply would not get any other way. The best excursion of our Bergen trip. Thor was an amazing guide. The RIB was exciting and his stories intriguing. It was very exciting between hit the waves full on and doing circles at speed on the lakes. But then tranquil passing under the trickle of the waterfalls up close. Would highly recommended
