El Safari del Parque Nacional Kaudulla le permite ver la fauna salvaje de Sri Lanka en sus hábitats naturales. Viaja a lo largo de las orillas del tanque Kaudulla para ver manadas de elefantes que vienen por agua. Escucha las llamadas de aves tropicales extrañas mientras tratas de identificarlas. Intenta echar un vistazo al ciervo de eje albino que se dice que es único en este parque en Sri Lanka. ¡Te esperan muchas aventuras tan emocionantes!

Itinerario
El safari lo llevará en un corto recorrido por el desierto de Kaudulla. El parque es conocido por sus avistamientos de elefantes, especialmente hacia el final de la estación seca en septiembre. El tanque Kaudulla alberga una serie de aves y otros animales salvajes, siendo la principal fuente de agua dulce en los alrededores. Viajará en un vehículo de juego de terreno accidentado (4WD). Establecido en 2002, el Parque Nacional Kaudulla forma el corredor de la selva Kaudulla-Minneriya cerca de Trincomalee. Se extiende sobre 6900 hectáreas de espacio e incluye muchos bosques secos de hoja perenne, tierras de cultivo abandonadas y zonas de pastizales. Los ecosistemas del parque giran principalmente en torno al tanque Kaudulla, uno de los antiguos tanques de agua construidos por el rey Mahasena durante el siglo III d. C. Ahora el parque tiene unas 24 especies de mamíferos, 25 especies de reptiles, 26 especies de peces y más de 160 especies de aves que habitan el santuario, además de otros insectos y seres vivos.

We really liked the safari, the driver was professional, we saw many elephants and other animals. I recommend this.

The reserve actually consists of 3 parks. Our driver's name was Pliant. He showed us eagles, monkeys, many colored birds and an elephant in the jungle washing. However, the herds of elephants did not ... Then we suddenly noticed a lonely male. Pliant was approaching 20 meters. In the distance we saw another male at the lake water buffalo, but not the hundreds of elephants that were mentioned. Pliant really went out of his way to spot elephants. We stood still with the jeep (alone) and then suddenly dozens of elephants appeared from the bushes. She stood 10 meters from our jeep and then walked further to the lake. This has been one of the most beautiful moments of my travels!!!! So beautiful with all those little ones. Meanwhile, a lot of jeeps had suddenly arrived. When we left the reserve, they were really queuing (traffic jam!!!) to enter the reserve. I wouldn't have liked that.
Great afternoon. Saw150 elephants close up. Driver was very good. Would recommend this as a great activity.

I am delighted to say that you offer one of the best service during my visit to Sri Lanka. The driver Sumit was good, our communication per WhatsApp was very quick and comfortable. Payment through the web per Pay pal was also very convenient. We liked safari very much and met more than 50 elephants + other animals and birds. We also did appreciate advice from the company to visit Kaudulla Park rather than Minneriya because there were more elephants on that specific day (even though Kaudulla was 10$ cheaper). The driver Sumit even called us in 2 hours after we said goodbye in Habarana and asked how did we get to the hotel. It was very nice !

Very much enjoyed our safari with Lakpura LLC! They gave us great advice as to which park to visit for the highest chances of seeing elephants - and we saw hundreds! Our driver was professional and on time, and we so loved bouncing around with the roof down on our safari vehicle. This is a must for anyone wanting to get close to wild elephants in Sri Lanka!
Although the gathering was already over, we called Lakpura to ask if it is still possible to see elephants. They gave us advice to what park to go and at what time. And indeed, we still saw 70 elephants! The driver was kind and picked us up from our hotel. He was a very good driver and had respect for the elephants by keeping a proper distance. He also had some interesting facts to tell about the elephants. I would definetely recomend their service. Thank you for the great experience.
