Tendrá 15 minutos en Bo Kaap con un poco de la historia de Bo Kaap... recuerde que Bo-Kaap es un barrio vibrante e histórico en Ciudad del Cabo, Sudáfrica, conocido por sus casas de colores brillantes y sus empinadas calles adoquinadas.
La plaza Greenmarket fue fundada en 1696 por ocupantes holandeses. Al principio de su existencia, la plaza se utilizó como mercado donde se vendían frutas y verduras de los huertos de la Compañía cercanos. También sirvió como mercado para que los dueños de esclavos compraran y vendieran esclavos.
Construido entre 1666 y 1679 por la Compañía Holandesa de las Indias Orientales, el Castillo de Buena Esperanza está considerado como el edificio colonial más antiguo que aún se conserva en Sudáfrica y constituye un claro recordatorio del complejo pasado colonial del país.
El ayuntamiento de Grand Parade es la principal plaza pública de Ciudad del Cabo. Fue el lugar donde se encontraba el fuerte original construido por los colonialistas holandeses en 1652. Hoy es un punto de encuentro para grandes eventos como el histórico discurso de Nelson Mandela cuando fue liberado de prisión en 1990. No hay nada nuevo en la globalización excepto el nombre.

Aquila Safari – Outstanding Experience with Leon My safari trip to Aquila was an incredible experience from start to finish. The scenery was breathtaking, the wildlife sightings were unforgettable, and the overall organisation of the day was excellent. We had a great time on this trip, it’s fantastic if you are short on time in Cape Town because it packs a lot in! We saw all the main sights of the city before heading off to the winery and then on to Aquila. There’s a lot of time in the car but that’s unavoidable if you want to go to Aquila. It was just the two of us on this trip and Leon was an excellent guide!
