This was a hands-on class! We did almost all of the work to make pierogis and then got to eat them (yum!). Our instructor was very friendly and gave us a great lesson on Polish culture and food. Held in a cooking school, the classroom kitchen was very well stocked, clean and quiet. We selected this experience prior to starting an organized 10 day tour of Poland, and it was a quick Bolt ride from our hotel. I highly recommend the experience- we had so much fun!
They canceled this class with no notification. We wasted our morning getting to the address to be told they weren't scheduling classes at this time and we had tickets.
Our host never showed up; therefore we never had the experience even though it was paid for and confirmed. The host did not respond to my texts and Viator customer service tried reaching out to the host with no luck as well. This was the second Viator experience I booked in Warsaw that went wrong.
I arrived 30 minutes early and waited one hour. Provider did not show. The company is in a very nice professional building. The building has a door man/security who was unable to assist or provide any info about the company other than it is often visited by tourists. I have been unable to contact anyone via Viator and have requested a refund from Viator since no contact with the company. While things occur, I have to say I spent $50zloty on a taxi to arrive at the location and was left with no activity for my day in Warsaw. I have used Viator for over 50 booking and this is a first for me
Time with pierogi is always a time well spent :D I've been to several cooking classes before, but WUK is definitely in my top 3 - great atmospehere, good company, helpful tips and tasty reciepes!
Thank you very much :)
