Descripción
Esta excursión incluye un itinerario de varias etapas para conocer y apreciar lugares de particular valor natural dentro de la reserva del Parque del Etna hasta una altitud aproximada de 2000 metros. Gracias a la experiencia de nuestro personal, usted vivirá una experiencia interesante y divertida a bordo de vehículos 4x4. Partiendo de las coladas de lava que amenazaron pueblos enteros, visitaremos los cráteres extintos y el mirador del majestuoso Valle del Bove. Visitarás un tubo de lava equipado con un casco y luces de espeleólogo. El recorrido concluirá con una degustación de especialidades sicilianas. NOTA IMPORTANTE: A nuestro punto de encuentro en Trecastagni a MontataGrande se puede llegar en coche. La recogida está disponible desde Catania u otras ciudades. Itinerario
El recorrido serpentea a través de la visita de diferentes atractivos (al menos 4): los flujos de lava antiguos y recientes; el Valle del Bove; la visita de una cueva volcánica con luces y cascos; camine sobre los cráteres laterales a unos 2000 metros.
Parada panorámica en el espectacular Valle del Bove, un anfiteatro natural creado por el colapso de los antiguos centros eruptivos del Etna. Esta etapa no podrá realizarse partiendo de Taormina. Alternativamente, puede llegar a la estación de esquí de Piano Provenzana destruida por la erupción de 2002.
Visite esta u otra cueva similar con luces y casco de espeleólogo para comprender el fascinante fenómeno de la formación de tubos de lava. Los guías lo asistirán en este fascinante lugar natural para descender a los meandros del volcán.
Degustación all'agricoltour MontataGrande con degustación de Etna y especialidades sicilianas (vino, licores, aceite, miel de Zafferana, cremas dulces, pesto salado, pistacho de Bronte, etc.). Esta etapa se lleva a cabo con certeza solo desde los puntos de encuentro de Catania o MontataGrande, sujeto a disponibilidad de la ubicación.

Wonderful experience. Our guides were so knowledgeable and accommodating for the children and older adults in our group. Our stops on the tour were interesting, engaging and filled with cultural information as well as education of the volcano’s geology itself. If you want to explore Etna and what this volcano truly means to the Sicilian people, do not hesitate to book! A great time had by all!

We had a great experience on this Mt. Etna tour. Luca was an excellent guide—friendly, knowledgeable, and full of interesting information about Mt. Etna and the surrounding area. He was also incredibly helpful when I climbed to one of the craters, making the experience much easier and more enjoyable. His guidance and encouragement were greatly appreciated. I highly recommend this tour, especially if you're lucky enough to have Luca as your guide!
It’s not often that you come across a tour guide as knowledgeable and genuinely engaging as Ciccia. We considered a few other tours, but we’re so glad we chose this one. Being in a small group (we got lucky it was just our family) made a huge difference—we were able to ask questions freely and really hear and absorb the answers. Ciccia’s knowledge of Mount Etna and its history was incredible, and it was clear how passionate he is about what he does. He was kind, welcoming, and truly appreciative of us being there, which made the entire experience feel personal and memorable. Don’t fall for the cheaper big group tours, this is 100% worth it!!
Francesco was an enthusiastic and knowledgeable guide about all things Mama Etna. This trip was amazing from the hike to the craters, the inside of the lava tube, and the jeep ride to the lava flow. The tastings and our lunch were an added bonus! This was a highlight of our travels.
Great experience with Oracio, who spoke very good French; he was able to explain the history of Etna well and answered our questions with a touch of humor. We saw the Valley of the Bull, visited a volcanic cave, and climbed a crater. To top it all off, a tasting of various farm products (pistachio/hazelnut creams, flavored oils, chocolate, pestos, liqueurs, etc.) beautifully concluded this visit. Thank you, it was fantastic!
Must-do if you visit Catania! We truly enjoyed out trip to Etna. Our guide Ciccio was amazing and super fun, full of sooo many stories, we learned so much about Mama Etna. Our 5 year-old daughter loved the experience - from climbing Etna, and the lava cave to the 4x4 off-road trip and delicious farm food.
A superb and very informative visit with a very competent and friendly guide, Marco. Go there! You will learn everything about Etna! The lunch at the cafeteria is delicious.
