The Garden Route es un pedacito de cielo escondido en la costa este de Sudáfrica. Nuestro recorrido de 4 días incorpora los aspectos más destacados de la zona junto con el espléndido paisaje. ¡Esto es perfecto para aquellos que no tienen mucho tiempo pero desean experimentar la famosa Ruta Jardín junto con muchas de sus actividades!

Itinerario
Salga de Ciudad del Cabo a las 6 am y diríjase a Oudtshoorn en la zona semidesértica de Little Karoo, que también es la capital mundial del avestruz. ¡Este viaje sigue la mundialmente famosa Ruta 62, que es la ruta del vino más larga del mundo! Visitaremos las cuevas de Cango para hacer un recorrido por este magnífico sistema de cuevas y también visitaremos una granja de avestruces para ver más de cerca esta enorme ave. Esta noche, nos quedaremos en Oudtshoorn y cenaremos un delicioso avestruz. (Cena)
Dejando Oudtshoorn cruzaremos la cordillera hasta la costa y la hermosa Garden Route. Nuestra primera parada es el mirador panorámico del 'mapa de África' en el desierto y luego nos vamos a Knysna (votada constantemente como la ciudad favorita de Sudáfrica). Aquí visitaremos los mercados de Knysna Heads, Waterfront, y exploraremos a fondo. Después de Knysna pasamos por Plettenberg Bay, donde pasaremos la noche en Storms River Village.
El magnífico Parque Nacional Tsitsikamma nos espera esta mañana. Olas atronadores, bosque espeso, abundante avifauna y nutrias, ¡este Parque Nacional lo tiene todo! Camine por la ruta costera hasta el puente colgante sobre Storms River Mouth y experimente lo que hace que este sea el parque más pintoresco de Sudáfrica. Desde Eastern Cape, nos dirigimos de regreso hacia Garden Route y hacia el puente Bungy más alto del mundo en Bloukrans (mucho tiempo para saltar para aquellos amantes de la adrenalina). Este bungy de 216 m de altura es una verdadera maravilla para la vista, ¡incluso para aquellos que tienen miedo a las alturas! Nuestro viaje nos lleva al Garden Route Game Lodge donde también pasaremos la noche en el alojamiento de lujo. Haremos un safari por la tarde donde tendremos la oportunidad de ver rinocerontes, leones, búfalos, guepardos y muchas variedades de especies de antílopes. Una suntuosa y variada cena buffet se sirve en el albergue y es otro punto culminante. (Desayuno, Cena)
Comenzamos el día temprano con un safari por la mañana para ver algunos de esos animales que no vimos la noche anterior. nos dirigimos hacia Hermanus y el mejor sitio de observación de ballenas en tierra del mundo (junio-diciembre). Las ballenas francas australes están regresando dramáticamente después de casi extinguirse hace apenas 50 años. Regresamos a Ciudad del Cabo a última hora de la tarde a través de la impresionante costa de False Bay, donde, con suerte, veremos algunos delfines para darnos la bienvenida a casa. (Desayuno)

Quite a personalized tour. Mawande had been punctual, courteous, patient and very knowledgeable about the entire route... would recommend.
We had a lovely trip with Mawande! He knows a lot about history, nature and the culture in SA. We did a lot of fun activities and when I had to go to the hospital Mawande was really helpful which I really appreciated. Also all the accommodations where we stayed at were very nice. Next time I will travel with him again, thank you for all the pictures, driving us around all day and the fun dinner table conversations!
What a fantastic experience. Our amazing guide Mawande was so professional, knowledgeable and took such great care of us. The tour itself was great and packed so much in a limited time - the highlight for sure has to be the Garden Route Game Reserve - an incredible accommodation and experience. Highly recommend and if you’re lucky you may end up with Mawande as your guide :)

We booked a guide for a four-day tour along the garden route and were very lucky to be on the road with Mawande. He has done his job really excellently and attentively attended to our needs all the time. He drove to all the planned stations reliably and not only brought us safely from place to place, but also showed us many additional things and explained them that made our trip even more interesting. You can tell that he really goes out of his way to give his guests a special experience. Being on the road with Mawande was a lot of fun. His friendly, cheerful manner made the tour very enjoyable. He was always courteous, helpful and extremely dedicated to giving us a nice time. We can fully recommend both the tour and Mawande as a guide.
Vaughan was THE BEST guide ever for our trip! We don't usually take guided trips but we were so pleased that we had this time. We saw everything we wanted, laughed and learned loads. This tour was a great way to get a taste of the garden route! Our guide, Dylan, was highly informative, attentive and entertaining! Dylan ensured everyone was comfortable, had a good time and got the most out of this trip. The itinerary was very well planned, just enough to keep the days busy and diverse without feeling rushed. The accommodations, breakfasts and dinners were great and the safari game drives were a special experience. I would highly recommend anyone short on time to do this tour!

We had a fantastic 4 day Garden Route trip with Mawande, our excellent driver guide. He was friendly, very knowledgeable and we learnt so much about South Africa. He made our trip truly unforgettable! The scenery is very beautiful with vineyards, mountains and coastal views. The highlight of the trip was the Garden Route Game lodge and safari. I would highly recommend this trip and definitely ask for Mawande. He was truly amazing.
Mawande - what a fantastic, incredible, gifted tour guide. He is legendary - an absolute first class man: professional, punctual and personable! He honestly made this trip the highlight of our stay in South Africa. He was across all the details, full of knowledge about the route and all the destinations and a great driver too! The 4 day tour was amazing- we loved Tsitikamma and the Game lodge. The accommodation was really good and each stop offered a different perspective on this multi-faceted country. From ostrich farms, suspension bridges, African penguins to the Big 5 - we covered it all! But honestly, if you’re doing this tour - you need to ask for Mawande as he is an exceptional tour guide and I can’t imagine doing this trip without him.
