Rumble in the Jungle : La expedición del mono aullador

The tour was nice and fun to see the monkey’s however we were taken to one tree that had several which was cool but the area had trash everywhere. Half my pictures had trash in them. And I mean beer bottles. It was near a home It would be a 5 if we were able to go to more areas and if they made sure the area was clean
Your review is appreciated. I believe you took the tour on the day the garbage truck was scheduled to do a pick-up at that location, so all the trash was gathered. This view is not regular as the residents of the village are fully aware of the negative impact it has on the environment. Sorry to hear about your pictures. We are happy to know that you enjoy our howler monkey sanctuary. Thanks for taking the tour with us
Our driver was very knowledgeable and enthusiastic but it was a long drive to spend roughly 30 minutes at the preserve. We did see a family of 7 howler monkeys and spent some time feeding them. We got some great pictures.
Thanks for sharing. The drive goes through the countryside of central Belize and several rural communities that are part of the Community Baboon Sanctuary. These amazing howler monkeys are found in their natural habitat inside the sanctuary, so it will take a little effort to get to see them. At times, finding these animals could be time-consuming. To see them in this short time is a treat. Our guides ensure that they provide all the details possible regarding the tour. We are pleased to know that you saw the entire family of 7 monkeys and also that you got great pictures. Your review is highly appreciated
Time spent with the howler monkeys was great. Didn’t like getting shaken down for an additional $20 for “entrance fee not covered in price already paid”. Was going to give that as tip anyway but seemed shady. Still tipped $30 because experience was unique and authentic.
We are disappointed to hear that our guests feel as though they have been shaken down while on our tours. We always advised our guest to refer to their tickets or booking information when in doubt about the entrance fees. The tour information clearly indicates that the entrance fees are not included in these attractions. We are pleased to know that you enjoyed your Howler Monkey tour with us. We do not operate a shady business, and we make sure that all this very important information regarding what is included and excluded in our tours is clearly posted on the platforms and our website. Thanks for sharing your concerns; it's highly appreciated.
Fabulous experience with a guide and just the two of us. Guide was knowledgeable about plants and everything about the island. We got to feed the howler monkeys for as long as we wanted.
We are happy to hear you had a great time doing the howler monkey sanctuary tour with us. I know the energy and vibes in Belize feel island-like. Although we are part of the Caribbean community, our country is located on the mainland of Central America along the east coast of the Yucatan Peninsula. It's a special treat to come up close to see this amazing wildlife. Thanks for sharing.
The experience was very fun and educational just little too short and our driver was the best host. Till next one
Your review is appreciated. I suppose the tour was a little short due to the school children who were also doing the tour. It was my pleasure to have met you and be your tour guide for this experience. We are pleased that you had fun.
We went with a plus adventures to the howler monkeys. Our driver was amazing and very knowledgeable as to the history of Belize and kept us thoroughly entertained. The owner Anthony was prompt and willing to get us ready for our tour without issue. When we arrived at the sanctuary, we were greeted by ourguide blue. He gave us instructions about the monkeys and then we were able to feed and hold them and listen to them howl. It was an absolutely amazing experience and we would encourage anyone who is interested or would love to see the monkeys in their habitat to take this tour
Here at A Plus Adventures Belize, we ensure that we work with the most experienced, knowledgeable, and licensed tour guides to lead our tours. The Community Baboon Sanctuary is the ideal place in the country to see the black howler monkeys in their natural habitat. Thanks for your review. You are always welcome to visit our beautiful Belize.
Woe unto you who would book this rip off for $50 per person. The tour of thecity amounted to pointing out the call centers, the Walmart, several High Schools, the Hospital, etc.Boring and of no value.Next you driven for an hour to The Howler Monkey reserve. After walking over a mile on uneven ground you get to see three monkeys in the trees and an old mahogany tree. That's it and back in the van for another hour and then a supposed tour of a rum factory. This actually turns out to be a store where they try to sell you a bottle of rum.The staff there was quite rude and indignant.10 minutes there and back in the van, through the city again until reaching the cruise ship dock.Lastly the A/C on the van left something to be desired.
This tour was sold to cruise passengers who came off the ship without a booking by another company. Our Howler Monkey Sanctuary tour is not sold for 50 USD, and it does not include the rum factory. This is not new; we have seen this before where dissatisfied guests just use the most available platform on the internet to vent. Here at A Plus Adventures Belize, we pride ourselves on the service we provide. On behalf of the company that delivered that tour, we apologize. And hope that this experience will not discourage you from visiting our beautiful country Belize in the future.
This is not worth the money. You spend a couple of minutes in the woods.... Not only do you pay for the tour, you pay more money when you get there. Save your money folks..
We appreciate your feedback regarding this tour we offer. Two factors that would cause your short stay in the rainforest could have been the weather conditions or the availability of the howler monkeys in their natural habitat. This tour also provides valuable information about the history of the Sanctuary inside the museum and the usage of some of the plants through the trails that are used as herbal remedies in our country. What's not included in this tour is the entrance fee. This important detail may have been overlooked on the voucher. We apologize for the experience you had doing this tour and we will make every effort to ensure that our guests are well-informed about the activity they purchase. We strive to provide the most memorable Belize experience to our valued customers.
Really unprofessional. Despite the confirmation until the day before the tour, they canceled it 2 hours before the start, telling me that I was the only person booked and that if I wanted to do the tour anyway I would have to pay double to reach the minimum number of people or move the tour, but in my case it wasn't possible to do either one thing or the other. It was a real shame because I had moved to Belize city the day before to take part in the tour. I still received the refund
We try to accommodate every one of our guests to afford them the best experience whilst here in Belize. The late cancellation was because we were hoping that another person would have booked this tour or have you join another group. Unfortunately, neither of the two options was possible. We apologize for the inconvenience but we made every effort to avoid cancelling the tour. We are pleased that you were able to receive your refund and we hope that your stay in our beautiful country was remarkable despite this minor setback
So. I had signed up for howler monkey tour. But it was canceled. They offered a Mayan ruins tour instead. Which was great. Mark is a most excellent guide
It is good to know that you enjoyed your Mayan site tour with our guide Mark. He is one of the most experienced guides on our staff. Thanks for your positive comments. We are grateful. Hopefully, you get to do the Howler Monkey tour on your next visit to Belize. Don't be a stranger.
