My first experience of visiting an ancient Roman site and it did not disappoint. These ruins certainly helped demonstrate just how clever the Roman’s were from a civil engineering perspective and just how organised a society they were. The site is easy to get to, has excellent parking and nice cafe / restaurant on site too.
The tour was amazing! We loved it. It was very and easy explanation of the history of the Roman Ruins. Sergio was very nice, polite and friendly. We are happy customers 🤩 Thank you, Flor & Héctor!
Thank you Mr Flor and Mr Hector, I glad you enjoyed our little adventure, best regards
Sergio was an amazing guide. He really explained Conimbriga ruins in detail. He took us to an excellent restaurant for the lunch stop. He is extremely knowledgeable about the plants, animals, and history of the Coimbra region. The Buracas do Casmilo were spectacular to see and have beautiful views of the countryside. He has superior 4X4 driving skills for the mountain roads. Aventuras Fortes is 100% superior tour.

Thank you for your review, my best regards.
My wife and I had a great time with Sergio and Fatima. We saw several ruins and got a nice level of detail regarding the site near Coimbra. We also visited several other points of interest in the area including a castle, natural caves, and a waterfall. Unfortunately the weather was not good so our schedule and trip had to make some adjustments. But they were flexible with what was available. As we weren't able to have an outdoor picnic, they were really great in taking us to a local lunch spot and providing us gifts of local wine, cheese, and sausage (which we ate later - it was great). We really enjoyed our time; it felt personal and was a great overview of the history of the region. We really recommend this for other travelers.
Thank you very much for your feedback! The rain wasn't in the plans but we always try to do our best and provide the best experience possible. We are glad you liked and also we are glad you enjoy the regional products! Thank you very much and we hope to see you in the near future!
