La Piazza Navona, totalmente cubierta de adoquines, tiene una forma rectangular alargada. Cuenta con tres fuentes y un obelisco egipcio. La particular geometría de la plaza viene dada por el anterior Estadio de Domiciano, que ocupó su lugar en la época romana.
El Panteón, "templo de todos los dioses", es un edificio de la antigua Roma ubicado en el centro histórico, construido como un templo dedicado a todas las deidades pasadas, presentes y futuras. Actualmente es una iglesia y un monumento histórico italiano.
La Fontana de Trevi es la más espectacular y más grande de las fuentes de Roma, con una anchura de 20 metros y una altura de 26 metros. El origen de la fuente se remonta al año 19 a.C., época en la que constituía la terminación del acueducto, el Aqua Virgo.
La plaza está dominada por la magnífica Escalera de Trinità dei Monti del siglo XVIII, construida en travertino por el arquitecto Francesco De Sanctis. Definida como "el salón de Roma", y dominada por la Iglesia de la Santissima Trinità dei Monti, una de las cinco iglesias católicas francófonas de Roma.

Toda la plaza tiene aproximadamente 340 metros de ancho, mientras que la elipse tiene un arco de 240 metros de ancho. La elipse está parcialmente cerrada a ambos lados por columnatas formadas por 284 columnas y 88 pilares. En las balaustradas en la parte superior de cada columnata descansan un total de 140 estatuas que representan santos católicos.
Campo de' Fiori fue construido en el área frente al Templo de Venus Victrix, quizás la sillería del templo, y su nombre deriva de la presencia de una gran pradera florida, así como de huertos, que adornaban la plaza en el siglo XV. .
Piazza Farnese es una de las plazas más elegantes de la ciudad, aristocráticamente aislada y dominada por dos grandes fuentes que dirigen la mirada hacia el edificio que alberga la Embajada de Francia desde 1874.
La plaza está dominada por el Vittoriano, uno de los símbolos nacionales italianos; tres edificios monumentales lo rodean por los otros lados. El más antiguo es el Palacio Venecia del siglo XV, que da nombre a la plaza y que alberga el museo nacional del mismo nombre.

This was a great way to see all the sites of the city. We really enjoyed seeing some of the sites lit up such as the Colosseum and Trevi fountain. It was really hot so being on the golf cart really saved us a lot of energy. It included a restaurant stop and a gelato stop. I can say that the pasta they gave you at the restaurant was the best pasta we’ve ever had in our life. They gave us a mix of appetizers as well. Some of them we loved and some of them we didn’t because they had had seafood in them and we didn’t weren’t aware. What item we wish they would ask about is what you want on your pizza. We got a pizza with mushrooms and olives and artichoke carts which we didn’t like any of them. But all in all, it was really great experience with great food. Our tour guide with very knowledgeable his name was Onofrio. One thing to be aware of is if you have an anaphylactic allergy to bees, there seems to be a lot of bees, outdoor dining in Rome. If I knew that I would’ve asked to be seated inside. They did move us inside, but I was a little nervous the whole time I was eating because of the amount of bees. Spending a few days in Rome we’ve noticed this all over the place. It wasn’t specific to this restaurant
If you want to experience the magic of Rome without the exhaustion of walking 25,000 steps a day or the claustrophobia of a crowded tour bus, booking a golf cart tour is the ultimate way to go. We had an amazing time on the Rome by Night Golf Cart Tour! Humphrey (for Italian name!?!?) was incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, and passionate about the city. He took us through charming streets and to breathtaking sites that we never would have found on our own, while sharing fascinating history and local stories along the way. Seeing Rome illuminated at night was absolutely magical, and the golf cart made it easy to cover so much without the exhaustion of walking. The pizza and gelato were a fun bonus, too! This tour is absolutely worth the value and ended up being one of the highlights of our trip! We would highly recommend it to anyone wanting to experience Rome from a different perspective.
This trip is perfect if you want to get to learn Rome before deciding which sights and places you want to visit. It gives a good orientation of the city, parts of its history as well as a few hidden gems (such as the view from Monta Verde in Trastevere). It was a wonderful time riding around Rome with Onofrio as our guide! I can recommend the ride even during warm days since it gets cooler in the evening and the minicar is open to let in the wind. Onofrio had a lot of experience and could tell us a lot about different parts of Rome, the history of neighborhoods and palaces alike.

We loved our evening golf cart tour with Onofrio! He did a wonderful job of showing us the highlights of Rome. He was engaging and very knowledgeable about the city and its history. Onofrio was a 5 star tour guide!! I gave 4 stars because the food at the restaurant where we had the arranged dinner was not at all appetizing. In fact it was the first meal I’ve had in Italy that left me feeling poorly. Overall, however, it was so fun to dart around Rome in the evening learning so many interesting facts and history. It’s something you could definitely do more than once!! Great way to start your stay in Rome or to recap all of your adventures! Grazie Onofrio!
This tour was the highlight of our trip. The operator is so knowledgeable and gave us a ton of information about the area. He was sensitive to my husband's hearing issues and spoke clearly to him so he was able to participate. It felt as if we were with family!
We loved our tour all over Rome with Onofrio. He shared a wonderful historical overview of the city and provided insight at each stop. We learned so much and had the opportunity to see so many amazing spots around Rome. The Italian dinner and gelato was such a nice touch. Highly recommend this tour for families with kids. Onofrio our tour guide was excellent! We learned and saw more in four hour than in days of other tours. And dinner was awesome plus gelato.
