A simply perfect tour! We walked from the Colosseum to St. Peter's immersed in a magical and engaging atmosphere. Our guide is a true minstrel: with his charm and funny anecdotes, he made the time and miles fly by, without making us feel a bit of tiredness. Thank you, Vincenzo!! A unique experience that I recommend to anyone who wants to discover the most authentic side of Rome.
I met Vincenzo Spina by chance years ago during a walk in the city center. He was leading a group on a visit and was in costume (later I found out it was the tour on Caravaggio). He acted out the character, then returned as a guide and explained the places and works visited. He captivated me, and I chased him for two years before managing to book the night tour. It was an incredible experience. I am no longer young and feared I would tire from walking for 5 hours without sleeping. Instead, it was a fantastic experience, the group was very mixed and attentive, Vincenzo gave us 100% of his energy, not allowing us to leave room for tiredness, and we enjoyed a Rome that was finally open, free, fresh, and "quite" silent (now like NY, it never sleeps!). He gave us a thousand explanations, covering every place throughout the millennia of History and entertaining us with anecdotes of all kinds (from cinema, to sports, to dialect with its popular sayings). In short, we said our goodbyes at 7 in San Pietro already looking forward to the next tour. Thank you, Rome Guides and Vincenzo Spina!
An unmissable and interesting night tour. Rome as you don't see it every day.
It is clear that if someone approached you proposing a 5-hour night walk for 7 km, the first response would be: are you crazy! Instead, it would be crazy not to do it. As a Roman, I find this experience absolutely unmissable. Discovering a nocturnal Rome not invaded by tourists, the beauties of this city capable of surprising you at every corner is always priceless, but all this would not be possible without a guide like this. Vincenzo is able to keep your attention high despite the sleepiness and fatigue, with anecdotes, accounts, and stories about history, like no one else. It is not trivial to talk for 5 consecutive hours, encouraging the group, making them participate interactively, and leaving them at the end of the route with the desire to continue again and again... If there is one tour you absolutely must do, it is this one, a bit like climbing the Dome or entering the Colosseum.
Truly magnificent experience with Vincenzo acting as a guide, on par with Alberto Angela and I am not exaggerating. An absolutely unforgettable walk that must be repeated. I have lived in Rome for 10 years but I had never seen it from this point of view. Everyone should do it, at least once in their life, if only for the atmosphere that this wonderful city transmits at night.
Rome at night offers unique visions! Vincenzo, our guide, captured our attention from 2 to 6:30 in the morning. I thought it was impossible for me, but instead it was all wonderful. From the Colosseum, to Trajan's Markets, to the Piazza del Campidoglio, with a view of the Forums, at night. Then down, to the Trevi Fountain, at night, without the usual crowds. A stop at the Pantheon, then Piazza Navona, Castel Sant'Angelo, and St. Peter's Basilica. Highly recommended tour!
Five hours, from 2 to 7 in the morning, crossing a Rome wrapped in silence and illuminated by the moon. Time flew by thanks to the stories, the expertise, and the contagious energy of Vincenzo, who manages to make you look at the city with different eyes. For those who live in Rome, as beautiful as it is chaotic, it is an experience that reconciles you with your city and makes you rediscover its most authentic charm. The bar where we were supposed to stop for a coffee halfway through was closed, but in the end, there was no need: Vincenzo's energy was the best coffee of the night.
Simply amazing. The guide was fantastic and very nice. Helpful and very knowledgeable. Very talented. Beautiful Rome
