Cada km de recorrido es un capítulo para descubrir: tumbas monumentales, acueductos majestuosos, antiguas villas... Cada piedra cuenta una historia, y usted es el protagonista de esta aventura. Otra sorpresa te espera bajo tierra. En la Cava Romana de la Caffarella, un laberinto de galerías excavadas a mano se abre a tus ojos. Es una experiencia única, un tufo en el corazón de la Roma subterránea. Aquí, podrás pedalar entre las antiguas galerías, tocar las paredes excavadas por los esclavos e imaginar la vida de quienes trabajaban en estas oscuras profundidades. - Tamaño máximo del grupo: el límite se establece en 8 invitados por guía para garantizar una experiencia personalizada. Podemos ser flexibles (1-2 invitados adicionales) para evitar separar las reservas familiares/grupales; sin embargo, el tour aún puede operar con menos de 6 personas.
- Recorrido: El 90% del itinerario sigue la antigua pavimentación romana de la Vía Apia, en una zona de tráfico limitado (acceso permitido sólo a residentes). Sólo están previstos dos cruces de carreteras cortos: uno para entrar en el Parque del Acueducto y otro entre Tor Fiscale y el Parque de la Caffarella.
- Cambios de itinerario: En caso de celebraciones, eventos oficiales o manifestaciones públicas, el operador se reserva el derecho de sustituir uno o más puntos destacados del itinerario para garantizar la seguridad del grupo.
- Experiencia en conducción: Es obligatorio tener un nivel básico-intermedio de experiencia en conducción de bicicleta.
- Prueba y Denegación: Se realizará una breve prueba de evaluación antes de la salida. El guía tiene el derecho absoluto de negar la participación (sin reembolso) a cualquier invitado que considere no apto debido a habilidades de conducción insuficientes o condición física/mental precaria.
- Bebés: Los bebés y niños (hasta 20 kg/44 lb) viajan gratis usando un asiento elevador provisto.
- Niños: Los niños (de menos de 139 cm / 4 pies 7 pulgadas de alto) deben usar una extensión de bicicleta (remolque).
- Edad mínima para conducir una bicicleta eléctrica: La edad mínima para poder conducir una bicicleta eléctrica es de 12 años.

We had a wonderful experience bicycling the Appian way and the Aqueduct park. The scheduling was easy because they picked us up from the city center and the biking was great because everyone could decide how hard they wanted to pedal. As a history teacher, I enjoyed the historical details provided along the trip. My 14 year old son enjoyed the day, and I enjoyed getting away from the tourist traps and heat of the city. Get a break by getting away from the stress of the city center.

This was an excellent tour. Our guide was local and told us some fascinating things about growing up in this area, as well as the history of the ruins we saw. The caves/tunnels were super fascinating. It was cold down there so our guide took us there first to escape the heat wave temperatures outside. And we loved it. The bike ride was really impressive and we learned a lot about the history of the Aquaduct system and the Appian Way highway. Loved our guide. He was so kind.

Amazing tour with Alessio. We had a lot of fun and the itinerary is ideal to not only learn a lot about the area's history, but also experience the spectacular views of the Via Appia, the Aquaeducts and the catacombs / the network running underground in the old quarry. The bikes ran very smoothly and Alessio had so many great stories to tell and details to note along the way. Definitely one of the highlights of our trip!

We took a private e-bike tour on the Appian Way in June 2026. Alessandro was our tour guide and everything about our experience was amazing! Alessandro gave us a good amount of information, stopped in shaded areas when talking (we went in June so it was very hot), took us at a good speed for our family and offered to take pictures of all 4 of us along the way. I would definitely take this tour when coming to Rome!

My husband and I had a magical trip riding bikes on the Appian road. AleViante was our guide and he was the best. He was interesting and knowledgeable about the all of the history on this amazing road. We saw all the famous ruins on the road … and the aqueducts. It was one of the highlights of our trip to Italy.
