C., explorando la intrigante historia de Roma, lejos del caos y el tráfico de la ciudad. Nuestro conductor lo transportará de manera segura a uno de los destinos más escondidos y curiosos de Roma: las primeras catacumbas cristianas, un lugar de entierro y culto para los primeros cristianos. Un guía oficial le presentará la historia de este antiguo sitio durante una visita de 40 minutos. Te sorprenderán y fascinarán los misterios de estos extensos laberintos de tumbas, sepulcros y lugares sagrados, que descubrirán un lado menos conocido de la historia de Roma. El servicio de traslado en carrito de golf sale de nuestra oficina cerca del Coliseo y se dirige hacia la Via Appia Antica, la reina de las antiguas calzadas romanas, dentro de uno de los parques arqueológicos más bellos y extensos del mundo.

Admira desde el exterior el impresionante anfiteatro, escenario de las luchas de gladiadores en la antigua época romana.
Pasando por nuestro camino, veremos desde lejos a nuestra derecha el valle del Circo Máximo, que alguna vez fue el estadio de las carreras de carros y el corazón de la vida social de la antigua Roma.
Dirigiéndose a la Vía Apia, admiraremos desde el tablero de nuestro carro las Termas de Caracalla, probablemente construidas entre el 212 (o 211) y el 216/217 d. C., durante los reinados de los emperadores Septimio Severo y Caracalla.
Únase a una excelente visita guiada a las primeras y más importantes catacumbas romanas a lo largo de la tranquila Vía Apia, fuera del ruidoso centro de Roma, a bordo de un cómodo carrito de golf.

Great time! Golf carts were wonderful!
Our tour driver, Cristina was very friendly. She did a great job in answering our questions and narrating the drive to the catacombs.
The golf cart segment was top notch. Cristina was charming, knowledgeable and full of spirit and e energy. She was so good at looking out for us all. The catecombs guide was interesting but at times hard to understand. The group was possibly a little too big. The experience was excellent in terms of what we were viditing
Christina was absolutely amazing. She explained a lot on the way there and the golf cart was a very cool way to travel especially with kids. Christina kept the kids very engaged, she is super friendly and absolutely lovely.The catacombs are very interesting and it was a nice cool down before a very hot day in Rome. Definitely recommend this tour!
Traveling by golf cart was a great way to visit a few sites in Rome and visit the Catacombs. We had trouble finding the meet-up location and arrived a little late, however Christina was very understanding and was determined to show us around and get us to the Catacombs on time. We throughly enjoyed the ride and seeing the beautiful Appian Way. Thanks Christina for a great start of our Italian vacation.

The catacombs are a historical landmark. The section on the tour has had all of the bones removed. The drive down the Appian Way was as interesting as the catacombs

In many sections, remains are no longer visible due to conservation, preservation efforts, and respect for the site’s religious and cultural significance, which is why the experience focuses on the historical context and underground architecture rather than exposed remains. Cristina was passionate and very experienced on our golf cart tour of the Appian Way and Catacombs. She was very knowledgeable and we learned so much. Cristina was wonderful! She was fantastic with our kids, and gave us lots of information as we drove to the catacombs about the parts of the city we drove past (Baths of Caracalla, Circus Maximus, etc). The catacombs were absolutely unreal - hard to believe there were over 500,000 people buried at one point! Highly recommend this tour!
