Only reason for getting 2 stars was that the guide was knowledgeable. Tour got pushed 45 minutes. 12 person max was 20 people. Scheduled the "fun" tour for kids and the guide was just a plain guide, did not try to be fun. Late start required us to go quickly through the end.
First, our Vatican Museum tours operate with a maximum group size of up to 20 participants. Nowhere in our official listing for this product is a limit of 12 people stated. It appears there may have been a misunderstanding or confusion with information from another source or product description. We want to be very clear that this is not part of our tour offering, and we consider this claim to be inaccurate and potentially misleading for future customers reviewing your comment. Second, regarding timing and delays, we understand your concern. However, access and flow inside the Vatican Museums are not entirely within our control. On certain days, entry times can be delayed due to Vatican-managed scheduling, crowd control, or internal operational factors. While we always do our best to manage schedules and communicate any changes promptly, there are circumstances where delays are unavoidable. We do sincerely apologise for any inconvenience this may have caused. Finally, with regard to the guiding style and tone, this is something we are very mindful of. Different guests have different expectations: some prefer a lighter, more humorous approach, while others prefer a more detailed and historically focused experience. Our guides aim to strike a balanced approach that works for a broad audience, combining accurate historical information with an engaging delivery. We recognise that this balance will not always suit every individual preference, but it is the standard we aim for across all our tours.

Sevada knows her history! We took the museum and Sistine Chapel tour and it was just one incredible exhibit after another. Sevada had all the background information and context to keep everything in perspective. Her stories of ancient lore made the whole experience a fantastic time for our teenage girls , Audrey probably took a thousand pictures! Thank you Sevada for a remarkable time.

The whole experience was amazing! The tour was interesting and fun and it felt like we had the whole vatican museum to ourselves. Mike was truely magic ;)

Mike gave us an outstanding tour of the Vatican Museum and Sistine Chapel! His storytelling made history come alive — suddenly, those ancient treasures weren’t just artifacts, they were part of an epic tale. He showed us hidden details we never would’ve noticed (yes, those eyes and stone really does follow you 👀💎). One of the best tours we’ve ever taken. Asked to arrive at a set time but didn't get into the museum for about 45mins. All seemed a bit chaotic. Guide was OK but took ages to get going. Gave a lot more information when asked questions. I'm not sure I'd recomend this tour.

This was a great intro tour. Mike was a good tour guide and funny. It started late which limited how much time we had in the Sistine Chapel but overall I appreciated the tour.
