Continúe con el recorrido y llegue al Circo Máximo, el estadio más grande de la Antigua Roma, construido para carreras de carros. Imagínese participar en una de las competiciones de carreras de carros del Circo Máximo en la que los participantes intentaron completar siete vueltas al Circo Máximo. Los competidores, montados en pequeños carros tirados por caballos, se jugaban mucho más que su prestigio o grandes premios en las carreras, ya que muchos de ellos eran esclavos que luchaban por su libertad.
La Colina Palatina es una de las Siete Colinas de Roma y es una de las partes más antiguas de la ciudad, ya que se encuentra justo encima del Foro Romano y sobre el Circo Máximo.

We had a great experience touring Rome at night. Peter took us all around and had lots of history to share. He was very knowledgeable, friendly and kept us on track and engaged. We truly enjoyed this tour at night. We ended up going to a daytime tour based on his recommendation as well.

What a great way to see so many of Rome’s most beautiful spots lit up and looking amazing. Peter was an amazing guide and driver. Born and raised in Rome, he has so much knowledge to share and knows his way around the city. He was flexible with the itinerary and offered so many insights. After a very warm day, it was nice to get in the comfortable and air conditioned van for our private tour. This may be our highlight of Rome. Highly recommend! Worth every euro!

This wasn't a cookie-cutter tour where you're rushed from landmark to landmark. Peter encouraged us to customize the evening and tailored the experience to our interests, making it feel like we were exploring Rome with a local friend. One of the highlights was visiting several hidden gems and lesser-known locations that most tourists would never discover on their own. These secret spots not only gave us a different perspective of Rome but also provided some of the most incredible photo opportunities of our entire trip. My recommendation? Book the 7:00 p.m. tour. The golden-hour light transitioning into sunset and then evening illumination over the city was absolutely magical. The photos we captured during that time are some of our favorites from Rome. What impressed us most was how much we learned along the way. Peter shared fascinating history, local stories, and cultural insights that brought the city to life. You could tell he genuinely loves Rome and enjoys helping visitors experience it beyond the typical tourist attractions. To top off an already perfect evening, Peter thoughtfully dropped us off near the Spanish Steps at the conclusion of the tour, allowing us to continue our evening with tapas, cocktails, and people-watching in one of Rome's most beautiful areas. This tour was one of the highlights of our entire Rome vacation.
