Our guide Giulia was excellent! She was very knowledgeable in the history of Rome for our tour at the Roman Forman & at the Colosseum. I would love to have her as our guide on other tours in Rome. She really took the time to share & answer any questions we had.
The best tour you can find. Our tour guide (sorry, I forgot his name but we included his photo) was incredibly knowledgeable. He tells the history in such a way that it truly transports you back in time. He was also kind, friendly, and very patient. This was one of the few experiences in my life that genuinely made me say “WOW.” I will definitely be back.
I dont think I can still comprehend i went to the colosseum! From seeing this in films to actually being there. The emotions and wonder this place conjures is beyond words. I used Vivicos tours for my ticket. And I have to totally recommend them. The communication before the visit was excellent with question answered instantly via WhatsApp. To collecting my tickets from such a knowledgeable team member. All added to an unbelievable adventure in Rome.

Tour was good and palentine hill a surprise alongside impressive colosseum. Good guide . However Viator changed time of tour from 10am to 12.30pm in blistering 36c heat. Take it or leave it. They also mislead because colosseum is at very end of 2 hrs and arena floor is not guided. So confusing re what to pick. However inclusion of forum and hill was good but disliked the fact we had to go during hottest part of day. Or lose a lot of money. Would have been dangerous for some in poorer health
Excellent tour covering off a bucket list item for us both visiting from Australia. MIRCEA MARCIU explained to us before the tour that he was a history teacher; wow, did he know his history alright. His passion in explaining the Roman history was a great personal touch that made the tour that much more special. He was engaging with the whole group, tied in the Roman story and immersing you in the moment, all whilst answering individual questions when asked, a skill some tour guides have forgotten.
It was very interesting! The guide (Massimo) was very insightful and cracked jokes which made the tour more fun! He gave references to modern day sports which allowed me to learn more about roman empire. He ensured to keep everyone engaged and of course going to the sites themselves was an amazing experience. The only thing is I wished we had slightly longer time in the sites to fully soak in everything. But other than that I fully recommend!! It's a good introduction to Roman empire.
I bought the ticket on the website of Civitatis and chose the guide with the language in Portuguese. Civitatis has contracted the services of Vivicos Travel and this, yes, made all the difference by sending all the guidance via WhatsApp and offering the service of a very experienced guide!
At the beginning, they separated us from the reference group and made us take off our audio system to access the site, which makes you suspicious about the legality of the ticket you paid for and the booking website. The information provided during the visit by Paola “Pinar” was correct.
