Wonderful experience. The flexibility of our tour was great because we brought our kids and one who was two years old. Thomas was fantastic and super knowledgeable.
We are return customers with Thomas. He is an excellent tour guide, and he is very knowledgeable about different locations within the park, trees and animals, and the historical facts to share about the area. He takes into account how active we are to know which trails are best for us. Also he takes into account the weather to know what length we can fit in before a storm, or when we should go earlier to avoid a weather issue.
Hidden views off of the main path that made for some great pictures! Thomas was very personable and I learned a lot of the history of the park.
Great way to familiarize yourself with the park. Our guide, Thomas, was very knowledgeable and friendly. He tailored our hike to our abilities. Kept checking in as we were going along. Took great pictures and explained a lot along the way. Gave recommendations on other hikes that we could do on our own when we come back. Totally feel like we could find our way around next time. This was a great intro to RMNP.
Excellent guided hike! Tailored to meet our needs, flexible, very knowledgeable. Would highly recommend!
We had a wonderful experience with our tour guide, Thomas. He was so knowledgeable about the history of the park, animal migrations, and tree health that we learned a ton from him along our hike. He also came extremely prepared with snacks and coffee for us. He knew all the best photo op spots, and he respected our skill set and capability for hiking when he selected our route today. We would highly recommend his company to anyone in the area looking for an information packed, reasonably priced custom hiking tour of RMNP!
Thomas from Estes Park Tour Guides was phenomenal. We (Mom,Dad, and kids 10 and 13) hiked up to and around Bierstadt Lake in RMNP. Thomas provided spikes for our shoes, which was critical since much of the trail was snow covered. He led us through the hike ensuring we were comfortable with the pace and brewed some hot chocolate while we soaked in the views at the lake. Stunning! The views on the hike up and down the mountain were incredible with full view of Long's Peak and Indian Head. He shared history of the area and took great photos of us, especially when we saw a moose, just off the trail. Highly recommend. The hike up is a workout and not for those unwilling to "work for the view", but we were moving at a fair pace. He would adjust pace if needed and I'm sure another, flatter hike could be requested. Memories made for a lifetime!
We had an incredible hiking experience thanks to Thomas, our guide to Bear Lake and Dream Lake in Rocky Mountain National Park. We are novice hikers, but Thomas made the journey incredibly smooth and enjoyable. His extensive knowledge of the trails, flora and fauna, and the area's history enriched our experience beyond measure. Thomas struck a perfect balance between offering insightful commentary and allowing us to absorb the awe-inspiring beauty of the mountains in silence. His encouragement throughout the hike kept us motivated, and his passion for the outdoors was contagious. Whether you're a novice or an experienced hiker, I wholeheartedly recommend Thomas for a memorable, fun, and educational adventure in Rocky Mountain National Park!
