The train ride was a lot of fun! We were entertained by a train robbery & his twin brother who was a cowboy! He told us alot of funny jokes. The train personnel were also very entertaining! They took turns passing along their knowledge of the area. Grace, Bronson, Bob & Rich also spent time talking to the passengers & making them feel welcome! I hope that I got their names correct. The rest of our tour of the area was fun as well. Dave, our guide imparted his knowledge of the different areas we were seeing. It's a beautiful area of our country!
This was our first time doing a guided tour in a new city and this trip did not disappoint. Our group was small, just my husband and I and our guide, Mark. Mark was an excellent guide and knew many interesting things about the area and took us to places we will definitely visit on our own again next time. The Heber train ride was nostalgic and fun, too. Every stop was informative and fun! Highly recommend if you are new to the area!
Mark was a wonderful guide in and around the Park City area. Gave us an opportunity to explore small towns that we were unaware of. The rail journey was a nice afternoon relaxing trip. While we had no children with us, it would be a great adventure for younger ones! Lots of beautiful trains at the depot!
Mark was very knowledgeable and helpful. We really enjoyed his commentary. The train ride was fun and the landscapes gorgeous!
This experience is well worth the time and money. Our tour bus driver, Mark, was fantastic. He was so knowledgeable about the area and had a great personality. The train ride showed us areas that we would have never seen.
Well Mark our fabulous guide was right on time. We were headed out of town to catch our train when the phone rang and Mark said this is my boss I better take it. Well someone missed their pickup so she insisted we turn around to get them. Mark assured us we would be ok. Needless when we arrived at the train depot the train was already on its way. Mark apologised and gave us the option to reschedule or stick with him for a better tour. The one couple that made us miss our train opted to reschedule. Mark took the rest of us on an amazing tour better than what we would have had on the train. Thank you Mark for making it such a wonderful and informative tour!!
Thanks so much for your review. Mark is awsome. We are glad you enjoyed the re route and thank you for your kind words. Come see us again on your next trip to Park City
Train ride was not remarkable, Mountain View’s by the highway and have the ride was thru the city. The ride around to various sites in the town was not interesting at all. I would not recommend this activity to anyone.
Hi Jerry, we will forward your comments to the train company. We are glad that you at least enjoyed our part of the tour and the destinations you would not have seen or experienced without our guide. Thanks again. Cheers
My husband and I had an awesome time. Great railroad train trip and getting a tour of Park city and learning history. Would highly recommend.
Thanks so much for the 5* review. We are glad you enjoyed the experience. Come see us again next time.
Unfortunately, I did not get Dave as my guide who has been mentioned in the positive reviews. The two stops I was really looking forward to didn't happen. The Swiss bakery (which was an added bonus when mentioned) closed almost 3 hours before our arrival; we didn't go to the Chocolate factory at all; and, the cheese store was closing when we arrived and had already pulled all samples. I was looking forward to filling my day with a well-rounded activity, but instead was greeted with disappointment after disappointment.
Thanks so much for taking the time to advises us of your experience. We have contacted the Cheese factory a number of times to ensure the have sufficient cheese samples when our tour guests arrive but they dont always comply. We will speak with the driver guide to find out why he missed the Swiss Bakery. Thank you again for your comments and we are glad you enjoyed the rest of the tour.
Mark was very informative and took us to so many different places before and after the train ride. Had fun on the train
