Experiencia de cata de vinos en Rodas

We have booked this wine tasting through TripAdvisor. When we got there we got a nice spot outside on the terrace overlooking streets of the old town. The staff was very friendly. When the wine tasting started we got several glasses on the table which represented a trip through different parts of Greece. The staff knew a lot about the wines. You also got a large drinks board matching the different wines. At the end we got another nice fruit bowl. When we indicated that we really like a wine, numbers were immediately exchanged so that we could pick up the wine later. All in all good service, nice experience and definitely worth your money.

We had a wonderful, detailed expert wine tasting with Kosmas - booked directly at the GR10 hotel (after we were thoroughly informed about the options). We enjoyed Greece's wine landscapes and received great information, topped off with a small tasting of orange wine!

An amazing experience especially for beginners like us! Our guide knew lots about the history and background of the wine we were tasting and how to taste it looking for all the tones and flavours even giving us tips on how to tell if the wine is young or aged! Staff were all so friendly and helpful. The atmosphere and architecture of the place made this experience feel cozy yet posh. Couldn’t recommend this place enough even for those who don’t drink wine much like us!

Myself and my partner came here for a wine tasting experience. We got to taste four beautiful Greek wines and were provided with a beautifully presented charcuterie board. Was a lovely experience guided by a friendly staff member at the wine hotel. Would highly recommend!

Did not have our reservation but it was not a problem. Wine provider was just ok in terms of knowledge and location was beautiful.

Excellent wine tasting. Food and wine pairings were spot-on. Excellent location and learned a lot about the basics of tasting. Helpful, knowledgeable and friendly Sommelier. Worth the price.

We were gifted the wine tasting by my daughter at Christmas. Although we do drink wine we shop in Aldi, and get the same every week. So we didn’t know what to expect from a wine tasting evening. However, we were pleasantly surprised. We were fascinated by some of the methods of wine making. Especially the wine that is matured under the sea. We learned about the history of Greek wine making and how much of the technique had been lost, but is slowly being regained. My wife explained that she only drank wine with Lemonade. Our host was shocked and said they didn’t have any Lemonade on Rhodes island😀. We were surprised on how much the flavour of the wine and food changed between the different types of wine. All together a wonderful experience we thoroughly enjoyed. We would recommend this for beginners and experienced wine goers.

The Obscura wine bar was amazing. The husband and wife owners were knowledgeable and delightful. The location is lovely. They specialize in biodynamic wines from the region. I highly recommend this experience.

Bought this experience for husband’s birthday who is a wine expert ( or so he thinks! ) 🤣 Lovely bar, imaginative cocktails which are worth a try & then onto wine tasting. Great experience would highly recommended.
