Tour de Rodas: pueblo de Kamiros, Siana, Monolithos y Lindos

Want a local guide and driver with LIVED local knowledge who insist on making sure you have a great experience? This trip is for you! By changing the order of the planned schedule, they made sure we avoided both the worst heat and the biggest tourist crowds. Lunch, the olive and honey tasting and the visit at Kamiros we had all to ourselves - it was such a great experience with no rush, no stress and crowds. And the route through the mountains is beautiful! Being a small tour group is SUCH a pleasure, and our guide shared so much info and answered so many questions all day. It was amazing. The minibus was also really nice (looked new), so we travelled in style with aircon and a group small enough that it was easy to stay together, gather for info and get everyone back on time to go to the next place. I cannot recommend this trip enough!

The tour guide Katrina was so informative keeping us informed with lots of info about the Island. Our driver Apostoles was a brilliant and very safe driver. The tour is a lovely way to see the real island so beautiful and the Rhodians are so welcoming.

During my holiday in Rhodes, I joined the Grand Tour of Rhodes with ManosGoing, and it was one of the highlights of my stay. From the very beginning, everything was very well organised. The pick-up, the communication and the whole schedule worked smoothly, allowing us to enjoy a relaxed and interesting day discovering the beauty and history of Rhodes. A special thank you goes to our tour guide Katarina. Her knowledge about the history, culture and traditions of Rhodes was truly impressive. What made the tour especially enjoyable was not only the information she shared, but also her passion and love for the island. It was clear that she was not simply explaining facts – she was sharing stories about a place she truly cares about. Katarina made the entire day interesting, personal and enjoyable. She always took the time to answer questions and made sure that everyone felt comfortable and included. The Grand Tour itself was a fantastic way to discover the different sides of Rhodes, from historical sites and traditional villages to beautiful landscapes and unforgettable views. It showed a side of the island that you might miss if you only stay near the coast. I would also like to thank our driver, who made the journey comfortable and safe throughout the entire day. ManosGoing clearly puts a lot of care into creating memorable experiences for its guests. The combination of excellent organisation, comfortable transport and passionate guides makes this tour highly recommendable. The BEST thing you can do to learn about and see the beautiful island of Rhodes!! This excursion is very well-facilitated, with Katarina who is incredibly knowledgeable and friendly, a fantastic and very smiley driver, and so much to explore for the day. The coach was very comfortable, air conditioned and fits about 30 people, so it was a nice amount of people on the tour. Katarina spoke throughout the drive, telling us about local sights, Greek mythologies and history. She made it really interesting throughout and would answer queries we had too. We stopped off at multiple places, looking at archeological sites that were so incredibly well preserved towns, a small rural business for honey and olive oil tasting (which we loved and brought lots of items from!), a rural restaurant for lunch having locally sourced Greek cuisine, and Lindos, which was stunning. We made a few stops along the way for photos of some beautiful sights too. Overall I think we had about 9hrs with ManosGoing, which meant we got to see so much!! The timings were quite flexible as well so it meant that you had plenty of time to eat, explore and learn. It’s a fantastic way to explore the island for areas that vary from touristic locations, to rural locations that you’d not see without a guide. It was stunning all the way, driving through the mountains, with great, friendly company. I was quite skeptical about doing a guided tour, as I have been on some before that felt very boring at times and disconnected between the guide and the tourists, but this was the complete oppostite and restored my faith in guided tours. We are 24 and we loved it! We would 100% recommend this to anyone who is wanting to see the island of Rhodes, not just to the main tourist towns. And absolutely if you want to learn about its history, what the way of life here is, what is grown here etc too, for a very reasonable price as well! Thank you for a great experience!!
