K'gari remoto (isla Fraser) y experiencia con ballenas

This is by far the best tour we have been on, small passenger numbers and friendly knowledgeable staff. We set out with morning tea and whale watching, then for a kayak up a fresh water creek and tubing off beautiful Fraser Island. Delicious lunch followed by more spectacular whale watching. Finished with a climb up the sand dunes to a spectacular view and a dip in another fresh water creek. Would definately do again.

Wish I lived in the area, would do this again. Great friendly, knowledgeable staff, well organized. Was an amazing experience, would highly recommend.

Unfortunately it was raining quite heavily for the first couple of hours but once it cleared up, we had a great time! We were surprised at the number of people on board given that the details provided on your website detailed a maximum of 20 people (there was probably double that number).

We had such a fantastic experience onboard the Tasman Ventures boat. The crew were incredibly knowledgeable and we learnt so much about all the humpbacks we saw (of which there must have been about 100!). We really enjoyed climbing the sand dunes and kayaking in the mangroves too. Would highly recommend!

We had an absolutely magical day on the water!! We saw countless whales and observed lots of amazing social behaviours including pec slaps, mugging, rolls, and chasing. We even had some incredible interactions with curious whales coming right up to our boat to check us out and put on a show. The crew were so knowledgeable and passionate, the whole day ran perfectly. The activities on K’gari were great too, really good value for money.

We were able to observe the whales from very, very close; they gave us an extraordinary show. The stops and the kayak and tube activities are very nice. The entire crew is smiling and attentive. Thanks to Carolena for her explanations in French. A very beautiful day, very well orchestrated at a cool pace.

One of our favourite days on our East Coast road trip. Incredible experience to be so close to the amazing humpback whales. The trip felt such good value for money, we spent a good amount of time whale watching, and time on K’Gari Island with fun activities like the rope swing into the creek, kayaking and tubing. The food was lovely and fresh and the crew were all so kind and friendly. 100% recommend this excursion, I’m sad it’s over!

Really fantastic experience. So many whales and so close. You could almost touch them. Also nice kayak trip between the Mangroves. And lots of beautiful pictures of K’gari. Super service oriented staff. And very good guidance and explanation. Really top big compliments.

These guys were incredible. Absolute must do when visiting the Fraser coast, in fact I would travel here just for this experience! Excellence in every aspect of our day, very helpful, knowledgeable and enthusiastic. The tour structure built throughout the day and at every step we had the option to go for an adventurous activity or a relaxing one which caters to everyone’s different tastes and needs. Really impressed Tasman Venture!!

A wonderful trip overall — whales, water sports, and a crew that really made the days special, we bought the 2 day package and ended up been given a free 3rd day - that was an exceptional bonus to say the least. Carolena and her crew made the days even more special than it already was, running whale sightings and activities with real energy. Special mention to Thomas whose an absolute gentleman who knows exactly what people need and when. His commentary on what we were seeing throughout the day was excellent and added a lot to the experience. The captain was focused and safety-conscious which is a good thing to have on the water. The vessel could have been cleaner, with wet cushions on board. Not a great first impression, but the staff more than made up for it and dished out towels to sit on. The first day was full of activities as well as Whale watching which was a highlight, Snorkelling is a sandy bottom, so not much to see. Kayaking was excellent fun down through the mangroves, Tubing was fun for the young ones and climbing the sand dunes and exploring Fraser Island was just so serene. The second day of our whale watching package was not so dramatic with not so many whales but we did see some. However big kudos to the company they offered everyone on board a return ticket which highlighted what a great company they are and we are glad we chose them. Our second day was epic with breaches to start the day and breaches to end and everything else in between. Hervey Bay is one of the best places in the world to see whales as they stop to rest relax and play in the beautiful calm waters of the bay sheltered by Fraser Island. One more thing … only 3 boats are allowed to view a pod at a time, so there is zero crowding of boats which I was really grateful for. With Tasman Venture you are guaranteed to see whales which is a real bonus. A great 3 days, we highly recommend this company for your whale watching and exploring Fraser Island.
