Nelson, originalmente conocido como Eldorado, recibió su primer nombre de los españoles en 1775, después de que descubrieran oro en Eldorado Canyon. Un siglo después, la zona se volvió famosa por la Techatticup Mine, donde las disputas violentas por la propiedad y el trabajo provocaban enfrentamientos frecuentes. A pesar de su oscura historia, la mina produjo millones de dólares en oro, plata, cobre y plomo antes de que las inundaciones repentinas hicieran la zona inhabitable. Hoy, los visitantes pueden explorar los restos de este antiguo pueblo minero, incluyendo edificios desgastados por el tiempo, maquinaria antigua y la vieja estación Texaco.

Este es un tour en grupo pequeño. Usaremos una van de pasajeros de 15 asientos o una minivan de 7 asientos, dependiendo del tamaño del grupo el día del tour. Recogidas disponibles en el área del Strip de Las Vegas y en el área de Fremont / Downtown. Recibirás un correo electrónico con toda la información que necesitas 24 horas antes del día del tour.

Not the best experience for the price. Our driver Luis, was very friendly, but was late to pick up and we were the first of four pick ups. The van is maxed at 10 passengers, and there were 10 of us were squeezed into it. We only spent about half the time (or less) at each advertised stop, which was disappointing as we definitely could’ve spent more than the 30 minutes we were given at Nelson. We spent a good amount of time at the gas station while Luis fueled up and brought water and ice for the cooler - but that at least gave us all a chance to grab something to eat since we were told we would not have time to shop or eat at Boulder City. We can be pretty flexible, but eating in the gas station parking lot was not on our agenda. The Hoover Dam stop was viewed from a scenic parking stop, there definitely was no option to walk across the bridge as advertised, as we were not even near the access to it. There were some good points to the trip, Red Rock Canyon was beautiful, and Luis guided us to other vantage points and assisted everyone with photos, but all in all, it was a disappointing experience.
Our guide, Luis, was wonderful. Knowledgeable and offered to take pictures. There was only 11 in our group, everyone was friendly and on time. Red Rock and Lake Mead were just beautiful! The Hoover Dam was a site to see!
We had an amazing Las Vegas tour with our guide, Anthony! He was incredibly helpful, knowledgeable, and friendly throughout the entire experience. Anthony shared fascinating information about the city and made sure everyone felt comfortable and engaged. His positive attitude, professionalism, and willingness to help made our tour truly enjoyable. My wife and I were very happy with the experience and appreciated how approachable and accommodating he was.

The trip was great! We covered the most scenic points close to Las Vegas in a car. Our guide Anthony was excellent in communicating and helping us with information. We got sufficient time to see each spot and covered scenic routes and great sightings. Overall, it's highly recommended if you plan to have a half day outing close to Vegas.
