Descubra el impresionante encanto del paisaje rural del norte de Vietnam mientras se desliza sin esfuerzo por amplias terrazas de arroz y exuberantes jardines. Adéntrese en la vibrante historia de Vietnam con un viaje al templo de la antigua ciudadela de Co Loa, donde antiguos cuentos y leyendas animan las antiguas ruinas. Sumérgete en la animada atmósfera de los mercados locales, donde el pulso de la vida cotidiana resuena en las bulliciosas calles. A las 8:00 a. m. o a la 1:00 p. m., su guía turístico lo recogerá en el lobby de su hotel y le brindará una sesión informativa de seguridad antes de comenzar nuestro viaje.
Comenzaremos cruzando el río Rojo a través del puente Long Bien, el puente más antiguo de Hanoi construido hace más de 100 años durante la era colonial francesa. Desde aquí, puede disfrutar de la vista panorámica del río Rojo, observar los barcos que flotan debajo y observar las granjas de vegetales verdes en la isla cercana.
A continuación, navegaremos por las orillas del río Rojo para apreciar los impresionantes paisajes de la campiña de Vietnam y observar a los agricultores que cuidan sus campos. También visitaremos a una familia local que se especializa en la fabricación de bonsáis para apreciar sus intrincadas obras de arte y conocer las costumbres y la forma de vida de la región. Después de eso, iremos en bicicleta a un mercado húmedo local y degustaremos algunas frutas tropicales. Nos tomamos un descanso en el lago de los lotos para saciar nuestra sed con jugo de caña de azúcar o algunas bebidas frescas locales. Continúe en bicicleta por caminos de tierra y pueblos rurales hasta que lleguemos a la antigua ciudadela de Co Loa, que se construyó en el año 200 a. C. para aprender sobre la tradición de Vietnam de establecer y defender el país contra los invasores extranjeros de Thuc Phan An Duong Vuong.
Luego, visitaremos un jardín de frutas y nos dirigiremos a un restaurante local para disfrutar de un delicioso almuerzo donde podrá degustar la deliciosa cocina de Hanoi. This is our first time visiting Hanoi. We didn’t have a lot of days so wanted to pack in as much as possible. We booked the Vespa tour for a chance to discover Hanoi and learn about the life of its local people. We had a great time with our friendly, polite and accommodating tour guide Summi and her team. Riding the vintage Vespa was a plus. Those Vespas had customized raised backrest, which added safety. Summi and her team took us through Hanoi’s landmarks, the history behind those landmarks, plus visiting two local families in the suburbs of Hanoi. My highlight was the chance to visit Mr Ngo’s family which has been living in the area over 18 generations. A section of his house was/is well-maintained over 200 years with many antique, family tree with luminating stories from the era of the last king of Vietnam, vua Bao Dai.

Shang was an amazing host. We ate at a local restaurant where the food was fabulous. The ride and places to visit were great. Shang was very knowledgeable and polite. Highly recommend.

On the final day of our trip, we decided to book the Vespa Countryside Tour at the last minute. The tour was amazing, we saw a glimpse into local life in the countryside and was a nice break from Hanoi city. The tour guide Hoa and drivers Bao and Thuong were wonderful. What a great way to kick off our trip to Vietnam. We did the afternoon village Vespa tour. Bao and Hieu were excellent drivers keeping us safe and comfortable and Shang was a wonderful guide who shared much, history, wisdom and passion for the village culture of Vietnam. If you have a day, or half day, to fill do not hesitate to ask for Shang. You won’t be disappointed !

What an amazing day we had with Happy as our guide. We loved seeing a little of the countryside as we are in Hanoi only a few days. Learned a lot about how people live in the villages and visited the An Duong Vuong temple. We felt very secure with our drivers as they navigated the Hanoi traffic. The tour ended with a great meal at Pho Cuón Hung Bėn. Absolutely recommend.
