This was not another boring boat tour. Ken was very knowledgeable about the area and architecture. My sons 19 and 14 loved it. Would do again.
If you’re looking for a fun, exciting way to see Chicago, the Blackhawk Adventure Boat Tour is an absolute must! It was the perfect combination of adrenaline and sightseeing. The high-speed ride across Lake Michigan was an absolute blast, and the views of the Chicago skyline from the water were spectacular. What really made the tour special was that it wasn’t just fast—it was also incredibly informative. Our captain shared fascinating history about Chicago, its iconic architecture, and the landmarks along the river. Going through the Chicago Lock was a unique experience and something we’d never done before. It was amazing to see how the river connects with Lake Michigan while learning about its engineering and importance. The crew was friendly, entertaining, and made sure everyone had a great time. Whether you’re visiting Chicago for the first time or have lived here for years, this tour offers a unique perspective of the city. We were smiling from start to finish and would absolutely do it again. Highly recommend!

Blackhawk Boat Tours was the highlight of our Chicago visit! Captain Ken made the tour informative, fun, and engaging with great stories and insights about the city. We loved experiencing both the Chicago River and Lake Michigan in one trip, with incredible views of the skyline and architecture. What really sets this tour apart is that it's the only one that passes Lake Shore Drive six times, offering unique perspectives you won't get anywhere else. Beautiful scenery, great information, and an excellent captain—highly recommend!
