Su guía privado lo llevará al distrito histórico donde floreció la población judía desde principios de la Edad Media hasta la ocupación nazi de la República Checa. Verá la histórica Sinagoga Maisel, donde los nazis almacenaron unos 6.000 artefactos judíos durante la Segunda Guerra Mundial y la Sinagoga Pinkas, que alberga el Memorial de las Víctimas del Holocausto de Bohemia y Moravia con 77.297 nombres de las víctimas enumerados en las paredes.

We had a super-nice, competent guide in Jakobu. Unfortunately Prague after New Year's Eve was just a) very, very full b) very, very cold and the tour outside was super-good, but not a real treat.

We had an amazing adventure learning about the Jewish Quarter in Prague. Our guide was exceptional in her knowledge and ability to translate that knowledge into compelling stories. She showed us all of the Synagogues, explained in detail the significance of each one, and gave us great insight into the long Jewish history in Prague. The Jewish Cemetery portion of the tour was quite interesting as we learned about the long history of the many generations of Jews buried there and the traditions associated with the Burial Ceremonies. Excellent investment of time and a compelling tour. Difficult to hear about the terrible atrocities committed by the Nazis but important that we remember these terrible things so we don’t repeat them.
