It's a scenic view experience. We did stop three times. I think I liked the honey farm area the best they were doing face painting. Kind of a Renaissance experience. We then went into Arrow Town and shopped. Great candy store and bakery.
We didn't do a 1/2 day tour we ended up doing a full day tour to Arrowtown and Tenaka ... which was wonderful.. our guide was so informative, friendly and accommodating in everything we wanted to do.. and went out of his way to show us many things other tours may not show you.. would highly recommend this tour .
The journey going to Arrowtown is great.Sarina our guide is marvelous she knows all the Lord of the rings site to visit.Thank you.
We had the most amazing time on this tour . Our tour guide Bill was such a lovely man . He showed us so many of the best sites and he knows everyone along the way and we were treated so well everywhere we went . We only had a small group of people that day and we were all from Australia so Bill tailored the trip to suit our interests . By the end of the day we were like a group of old friends. New Zealand is an amazing place it was our first time visiting your beautiful land and it will not be the last . We thoroughly enjoyed our tour and Bill was extremely interesting . Wanaka , Cardona and Arrowtown are well worth a visit. 10 out of 10.
Kathy was a wonderful guide for this tour. Besides her extensive knowledge of the sites we visited, she shared what it is like for local people to live in New Zealand. She also took us to some beautiful places that only locals about. Thank you Kathy!
We did the tour with Cathy, she is a local and very knowledgeable and professional tour guide. Our family loved it. I had a 10 year old with me, who wanted more than just scenic views. Cathy went out of her way to add lord of rings sites and stories to keep her as well as us interested.
Cathy was such an amazing tour guide. She was knowledgeable, accommodating and sensitive to our needs. She had side stories to share about the places and she even helped us get some cherries when she heard we wanted to go to Cromwell but our sked did not permit it.
There's nothing to special. Bus driver moving on hills. We are seeing snow, valley, ponds, beauty etc.
