Don’t do tour at night Dark and cant see any of the monuments etc Very expensive for what you get to see and experience
Thank you for your feedback. We’re sorry to hear that the tour did not meet your expectations. Evening tours focus on atmosphere and storytelling rather than monument visibility, which can be limited after dark. We understand this experience may not be suitable for everyone, and we appreciate your comments, which help us improve how we present and describe our tours. Thank you for sharing your experience.
We took the 5 hours walking tour. Tour guide Walter was very knowledgeable and accommodating. But this tour is for those who are able to take 5 hours. Otherwise take the 3 hour old town tour.
Hi Joanna_O, Thank you for your feedback. We’re pleased to hear you enjoyed the history tour and that Walter’s knowledgeable and accommodating guidance made the experience valuable. We also appreciate you sharing your perspective on the duration. Offering different tour lengths allows travelers to choose the option that best fits their pace and interests. Thank you for your recommendation, and we hope to welcome you again on another Rosotravel experience. Kind regards, Rosotravel Team
Our tour guide was Joe .. I feel viator did not send their best guide and found one last minute as a replacement .. and as I had taken this expensive private tour only to get myself more knowledgeable about the 3rd Reich, nazi propaganda etc .. the guide didn’t seem to have much knowledge to share .. he didn’t come prepared with a lot of pics or info .. and at times he wasn’t even aware if a certain exhibition like the documentation center was open .. that left us very unsatisfied.. he himself was very courteous helpful and kind , but that’s not enough .. the tour itself was not by the best guide that viator talks about .. I would not recommend this tour with this guide .. the tour components themselves were good, but needed an expert and superbly knowledgeable, and a more excited guide to impart Information .. viator had wanted me to change my dates for this experience which was not possible for me .. that does not mean you give a replacement guide that is not upto the standard .. we paid more than 600€ which my husband and I felt was certainly not worth it ..
Thank you for your feedback. We’re glad you found the tour components themselves interesting. We strive to assign guides who meet Viator’s standards, and the guide provided all planned information and followed the official itinerary. We understand that personal expectations for specialized historical knowledge may vary, but the tour was conducted as described and included all listed features.
Serge is knowledgeable, diligent, considerate and humorous. With his help, the tour is efficient and informative.

Most important, we had an excellent guide in Sergey. He took us through the history of the Nazi grounds, and then on to the Nurnberg castle for older history. The +’s were excellent because of Sergey. The main challenge of this tour is that it is a LOT of walking. The Nazi grounds are HUGE. We recorded 6+ miles walking on the tour. The main reason to take this tour is that you really want a deeper understanding of the Nazi leadership’s megalomania. The main reason to avoid it is that you do not have that desire - you will be disappointed in how little you actually see, since these are “ruins” of a largely unfinished project to build a Nazi world political center.
Dear Michael, Thank you for your positive feedback. We are thrilled to hear that our tour met your expectations and that had a great experience with our guide. We hope that you will use our services again in the future. We look forward to welcoming you back on another tour! Best regards. Rosotravel Team
This was a wonderful tour. Our guide, Tom, was amongst the best we’ve ever had. Ou 11 year old daughter described it best when she said it was “less like a tour and more like walking around the city with a friend.” We highly recommend!!

Joe was a great tour guide. We walked quite a bit in 5 hours and saw many sites. His background knowledge was very good and he provided a thorough understanding of the city. He was ready with bus passes as we traveled major areas of the city. We were quite pleased with his experience as a lifelong local. He is a great guide with really good English and extensive background of Nuremberg’s history at each site. We would recommend Joe!
Tom was a patient, knowledgeable, and gracious guide. We started with dark side of Nurnberg (Nazi sites) and moved to the rebuilt "old town". It's a wonderful story of rebirth after the city was severely bombed during WWII. We saw almost everything we wanted aside from the underground bunkers (cellars)....different tour operator.
Sergei was an excellent guide. Perfect tour. We saw mist if the town in five hours. Do this tour early in your trip because you may want to go back to some of the churches and museums to visit in more detail.
Sergei was an extremely knowledgeable guide for this tour. His knowledge was extensive and intriguing. We walked a great deal but that was not so noticeable due to his ability to keep us involved.
