Esta es la excursión perfecta si busca un viaje diversificado, donde podrá visitar en un solo día un lugar altamente espiritual (Santuario de Fátima), el mejor ejemplo de la arquitectura gótica en Portugal (Monasterio de Batalha), el antiguo pueblo de pescadores, conocido en todo el mundo en nuestros días como la "Meca del surf" (Nazaré), y un pueblo precioso medieval (Óbidos). Todo en un solo día sin largos tramos de coche.

Para empezar esta excursión privada fantástica, saldrá de Lisboa y en una hora de viaje llegará al Santuario de Fátima, donde encontrará tres lugares de interés donde se puede asistir a una misa (opcional); la Capilla de las Apariciones, la primera Capilla que se construye inmediatamente después de las apariciones ocupa un lugar destacado, no por tamaño o grandeza, pero sí por la ubicación en el centro del Santuario.La Basílica de Nuestra Señora del Rosario, construida en 1928 en estilo neobarroco, alberga hoy las tumbas de los niños, pero también la de la Hermana Lucía, fallecida en 2005; y la Basílica de la Santísima Trinidad, construida en 2007 con más de 8000 asientos y 40 000 m² de superficie, fue diseñada por el arquitecto griego Alexandros Tombazis, es una iglesia moderna e imponente.
La piedra desnuda de tonalidad cálida hace del Monasterio de Batalha un lugar emblemático de la historia de Portugal, en un período de reafirmación de su independencia en Castilla (España).Un edificio de estilo gótico tardío, fruto de la sabia gestión de los más grandes maestros portugueses e internacionales, desde el maestro fundador Afonso Domingues hasta el genial Huguet, que termina en el "estilo manuelino" de Mateus Fernandes, la Capilla del Fundador y las "Capillas Imperfectas", para ser el panteón de reyes y príncipes marcados por el escolasticismo de los frailes dominicos que representan la Ciudad Celestial.
Nazaré es un pueblo pictórico con un pasado intenso, bien retratado en el patrimonio arquitectónico con numerosas iglesias y casas tradicionales que aportan un ambiente muy pintoresco, es el primer lugar de culto en Portugal.En el pasado reciente el fenómeno del Cañón de Nazaré, con olas fenomenales que hicieron famoso a Nazaré en todo el mundo, en 2013 el surfista norteamericano McNamara rompió el récord mundial al surfear una ola de unos 30 m de altura. Otra curiosidad serán las "siete faldas" de la esposa de Nazaré, que mostró orgullosamente a sus visitantes.
En Óbidos (Patrimonio de la Humanidad de la UNESCO), le llevaremos atrás en el tiempo, mientras pasea por las calles hermosas y estrechas llenas de tiendas tradicionales, a lo largo de las casas antiguas pintadas de blanco, y a través de sus murallas podrá imaginar cómo habría sido la época medieval.Óbidos fue utilizado como regalo de bodas de Dionisio I a su esposa Isabel de Aragón, el pueblo pasó a formar parte de la Casa das Rainhas, recién extinta en 1834, y la mayor parte de la Reina Portuguesa pasó por ella, y dejó grandes beneficios. Catarina Enriqueta ordenó la construcción del acueducto y las fuentes.

We had an unforgettable experience! The private tour exceeded our expectations. We were fortunate to be guided by Diogo, who was very kind, professional, knowledgeable and patient. I wish our trip was a bit longer to be able to book other destinations with them.
Great personalized tour of Fatima, Nazare and Obidos. Tips: Have a sense of where you want to spend your time. Nazare is a beach town with some great views - not so much to see otherwise, but a good lunch stop. One could spend 1/2 day just at Fatima, especially if you are Catholic. Obidos is cool to see - you could linger there in one of the bars or restaurants, otherwise an hour unless you want to do a lot of shopping. We had Pedro as our guide - he was very courteous and personable!
We are coming back from doing this tour feeling quite disappointed as we have been unlucky to meet a guide (Jose is the name by the way)nothing professional. First of all, he did not speak fluent Spanish and we had a hard time understanding his explanations. It was dry, not pleasant and not helpful. We had to get the information from him at the beginning and in the end we ended up desisting from asking and searching the information online. We really could have done this tour on our own account and now almost 500 euros as it only served as a driver (we went to Lisbon in our own car by the way) and also creating an unpleasant atmosphere in all aspects. Another thing that disappointed me is that in Obidos you are sold the story of typical cherry liquor tastings but you have to pay for it, not as in other tours that offer you typical sweets like in Sintra and Belém. We feel quite conned with this experience and will never book with this company again obviously. A dire experience.

En cuanto al coste del tour, es importante señalar que las plataformas de gestión de servicios tienen comisiones que se reflejan en el precio final. Sin embargo, lo más importante y que no menciona en su crítica, es que usted no pagó absolutamente nada. Ante su malestar expresado mediante los mensajes que nos envió mientras aún estaba en el coche, decidimos restituirle el 100% del valor del tour ese mismo día. Nuestra prioridad era su bienestar y, aunque el servicio no cumplió sus expectativas debido a este contratiempo de salud de nuestro equipo, actuamos con total responsabilidad y honestidad financiera de inmediato. This was our best tour on our vacation. Paula called me via WhatsApp a few minutes prior to our meeting time to let us know that she was at the end of the Gangplank and gave us her description. She was there waiting and immediately escorted us to her vehicle. Our small group was on the road prior to any ship excursion even made it to shore. She was detailed on our full itinerary and timeframes at each location. Our trip to Fatima was fast and fantastic. We got there quickly and managed to see everything before the Ship guided tours arrived. Beating the crowds from the ship made seeing everything quick and easy. She never had to rush us and kept sharing facts and history about the locations we were visiting. I wish I can give her a higher rating here. Keeping our group together was like herding cats at times, but she did it all with a smile. When our tour was completed, she monitored traffic and knew all the roads. She got us back to our ship with plenty of time to spare. We came to Lisbon looking for a tour guide. We ended up leaving a close Friend behind. We love you Paula and hope to see you again in our future travels to Portugal.
Private drive to Fatima. We toured ourselves and loved it. Driver was very good, completely flexible and efficient dropped us right at the entrance and pickup the same. Nice half day from Lisbon.

Victor was our driver and guide. He gave us all the time we wanted to pray and tour around Fatima. We went to town with all of our photo opportunity in Batalha, Nazare, and especially Obidos. Even though it was a long day, he was very patient with us and did not rush us at all. He recommended Mosteiro Do Leitao for lunch. Their crispy pork did not disappoint. He even made a list of recommended restaurants by locals in Lisbon for us. He's a safe driver, patient guide, and definitely know his food. The whole trip was seamless.
