Para aquellos que quieren ver la vida silvestre en Guanacaste, el tour en bote por el Parque Nacional Palo Verde es uno de los mejores. El recorrido en barco dura aproximadamente 1,5 horas, bajando por el río Tempisque en un bote a motor de 20 - 25 asientos. Conduciendo a través del sitio del país: llegarás para disfrutar de un crucero de dos horas por el río que tiene el acceso más cercano al Parque Nacional Palo Verde. Este río es uno de los más importantes de Costa Rica, ya que hace años el río Tempisque fue utilizado como vía de transporte de personas y mercancías como el ganado y la caña de azúcar. Además, el río es considerado uno de los santuarios de aves más grandes de América Central. Río Tempisque Posee gran cantidad de avifauna, incluidas aves acuáticas como garzas, garcetas, ibis, cigüeñas, espátula rosada y muchas otras especies. Aparte de las aves, los monos disfrutan escalar y comer hojas y frutos de los árboles a lo largo del río. Los respetados cocodrilos y las enormes iguanas se sientan en las rocas para calentar sus cuerpos bajo el sol. El recorrido finaliza con una deliciosa comida típica costarricense.

Went on this tour 2 days ago. Our tour guide Rainer was so very kind and knowledgeable on not only the tour but was able to give us insight on the culture of Costa Rica (we had so many questions). We then went on the riverboat and it was clear that their goal was for us to have the absolute best experience. Both Rainer and the Captain made it their job to point out and teach us about all the beautiful creatures and ecosystem around us.we then went to a meal and I have been searching for the same great food ever since. Best meat on this trip(what kind of juice was that??) We are so grateful to have been a part of this tour. Highly recommend.

If you want to spend some time exploring nature in Costa Rica and you can’t do hike in the woods, this is for you. Really this is great for anyone who wants to see local wildlife and explore a major river in CR. Garvin was a very knowledgeable guide and seemed to truly enjoy his job. We were able to see monkeys, birds, crocodiles, etc. There were only 4 of us. The other 2 was another mother-son group. With my sprained ankle, I was happy to spend some time in this quiet, natural area and see local flora and fauna. They picked us up from our hotel at Coco Beach. They were very good at communicating pick-up time múltiples times to make sure I received it.

The tour was awesome! We saw so many birds, two types of monkeys and crocodiles. Rainer was knowledgeable and easy to talk to. I would recommend this tour to anyone in the playa del coco area.

Incredible tour and guide, he picked us up early and we were the first boat out. Well worth it as we got to see lots of monkeys, crocodiles, iguanas and herons and egrets.
Carlos picked us up early in the morning so that we avoided the crowds on the river. This permitted us to see lots of wildlife, white faced and howler monkeys, many birds and crocodiles. Carlos was very knowledgeable of the wildlife species. Our boat captain was an excellent spotter of wildlife.
Very interesting tour. Lots of birds, crocs and monkeys. Guide was very informative and friendly. Meal was delicious and the farm was very cool!
Our guide was great. We saw lots of crocs , iguanas, Jesus Christ lizards, heron, capuchin and howler monkeys and the pair of scarlet macaws was a highlight. The meal was great and our guide was very knowledgeable.
