Explore la asombrosa arquitectura de Chicago desde la perspectiva única de los trenes elevados y las plataformas de las estaciones. Conozca la historia detrás del famoso sistema "L" y escuche cómo ha dado forma al desarrollo de edificios dentro del Loop. El primer tren elevado de la ciudad comenzó a hacer viajes en 1892. Ahora se considera una de las características más definitorias de Chicago, la "L" ofrece increíbles vistas del centro. Al estar a más de 20 pies del suelo, verá detalles arquitectónicos que la mayoría de los peatones pasan por alto al nivel de la calle. We are CAC members and have many of the tours but this Elevated Train Tour was one of the best. Our guide Steve was excellent- knowledgeable, interesting and easy to follow. It was a great combination of learning about the history of the trains along with the architecture that surrounds them. We would highly recommend it

We had a wonderful tour with Quentin. He was full of information about events leading to the elevated system. Also, so much information about the buildings surrounding the areas we covered. The admission price is reasonable. The time allowed was sufficient but we would have enjoyed even more time.
