Pase un día memorable visitando lo que sin duda es la atracción más infame de Irlanda del Norte. Viaje en autobús en un viaje que recordará para toda la vida, disfrutando de la espectacular belleza natural que es la Antrim Coastal Road, el castillo de Carrickfergus, el mirador Portaneevy para ver el puente de la cuerda Carrick-a-Rede (debido a problemas de personal de National Trust no aceptarán ninguna reserva de autobús o grupo por el momento, pero nos detendremos para tomar fotografías), la Calzada del Gigante y las ubicaciones de Juego de Tronos, incluidos los Dark Hedges, además de mucho más. Este tour recorre toda la carretera costera desde Belfast, que es una zona obligada de excepcional belleza natural. No todos los tours a la Calzada incluyen esto, pero es ampliamente conocido por ser la mejor ruta a la calzada. Dejar esto fuera de su gira sería una gran pérdida!!

El castillo de Carrickfergus (del irlandés Carraig Ḟergus o "cairn of Fergus", el nombre "Fergus" que significa "hombre fuerte") es un castillo normando en Irlanda del Norte, situado en la ciudad de Carrickfergus en el condado de Antrim, en la costa norte de Belfast Lough.
Viajaremos a lo largo de la fantástica carretera costera de Antrim con el mar de Irlanda a la derecha y los valles de Antrim a la izquierda.
Pasaremos por los espectaculares valles de Antrim e incluso subiremos Glencorp y cruzaremos Glen Dun Bridge antes de subir a la cima de GlenDun y luego descenderemos a la ciudad de Ballycastle
Nos detendremos en Portaneevy View Point para ver el puente de cuerda Carrick-a-Rede desde la distancia, ya que el fideicomiso nacional no tiene personal para tratar con grupos en la actualidad, pero esta es una oportunidad perfecta para tomar fotos del puente de cuerda.
Dark Hedges, conocido como el Kingsroad en la serie Juego de Tronos de HBO. Paseo entre los árboles que se hicieron famosos por el Juego de Tronos seguido de una parada de almuerzo en un pub tradicional (costos no incluidos).
Visitaremos la destilería Bushmills durante 30 minutos para que puedas comprar una botella o incluso un trago del mundialmente famoso whisky irlandés en el lugar de nacimiento de tan fina bebida.
Lo más destacado del día es la parada en la Calzada del Gigante donde podrá pasear por las rocas. El precio no incluye el centro de visitantes.
Finalmente tendremos la oportunidad de ver el famoso Castillo de Dunluce encaramado en lo alto de un acantilado con olas estrepitosas debajo también de una ubicación de Juego de tronos y originalmente hogar del Clan Mac Donnell

Great visit to giants causeway and dark hedges. Be aware you don’t get to visit the rope bridge except from very far away, so you might want to find a small group tour that actually takes you there instead. The lunch stop isn’t great but that’s not the tour’s fault
Tour was disappointing. At pick up, there was an issue with being over booked, and we lost tour time waiting for it to be sorted out. Bus was below average. Old and worn. Air conditioning did not work while the tour guide was using the microphone.. Traffic incident caused another 1.5 hour delay.
Unfortunately our tour was on a national holiday. We booked this thinking July 12 parades would have taken place Sunday and Mon would be no problem. However we were not told that we would not be able to most of the destinations listed on the itinerary. This should have been communicated or our money refunded For a portion of the amount. We were disappointed overall. We were disappointed in the lack effort taken by the tour guide. He was not interactive or educational and didn’t even attempt to return us close to the drop off destination. Instead we had to Finish walk a long distance in the trash ridden streets with drunken people which seemed unsafe. We were not taken to The castle or the rope bridges, or the Bushmill distillery. The tour guide explained that he could not take us to the castle because there was nowhere to park. That is unacceptable for a tour to not have some accommodations for this. So I believe we should have been refunded half the amount we paid. The pictures and the listing online make it seem like we were going to actually be able to walk across the rope bridge which the tour guide did say it was possible, but that his schedule wouldn’t allow for it. Furthermore, at lunch our tour guide did not give us the options of where to eat lunch. He told us to go into the restaurant and it was a buffet. Later we found a different cafe and coffee shop nearby that we would have rather eaten at. But we were so hungry by the time we finally arrived at lunch we paid more than we would have for the buffet lunch.
We were sitting near the back of the coach. The coach inside was very hot and not enough fresh air. We were not feeling comfortable inside the coach throughout the trip. The coach was not clean enough especially the small tables in front of our seats.
The bus used in this tour was not a designated Allens Bus and the sound system was not working so it was impossible to hear the bus driver's comments on the tour. This was pointed out to him several times but not fixed even in down periods. Drop off at the end was not where we were picked up
Enjoyed the giants causeway but everything else was rushed and some of it a bit unnecessary. Couldn’t hear what the guide was saying - he seemed more irritated with the fact people were telling him they couldn’t hear than with faulty equipment itself. He didn’t make it a pleasant experience- rude and misogynistic. Didn’t like the plugs to go to a hotel buffet and not being told there was a cafe available
Great trip and plenty of time at all sites. Comfortably bus and wonderful food stop. The Giants causeway was the best part.
Always rushed trip, almost no time for lunch, 15 minutes in the Bushmills and in the end did not take us to the Hotel Leonardo where they caught us. The places visited are beautiful. Besides, Mark was friendly but instead of speaking English he spoke “Irish” and very fast 🤣.
A good adventure with beautiful views. It felt a bit rushed at times. For example the whiskey distillery was only 15-20 minutes stop to go to the gift shop. Read the itinerary before you go, so that you are prepared. Also be aware that there is just a viewing point to see the hanging bridge from afar. The tour itself was nice and we got to see many beautiful places. The tour guide was also really good. My partner and I had a mostly great time.
Excellent journey pity about no access to the bridge otherwise everything was great
