Frente al pintoresco lago Putrajaya, la Mezquita de Putra es posiblemente el punto de referencia más distintivo de Putrajaya y una de las mezquitas más modernas del mundo. Una muestra de cómo los diseños de mezquitas han evolucionado en Malasia, la arquitectura islámica de Putra Mosque combina artísticamente los diseños tradicionales, la artesanía local y el uso de materiales indígenas. La mezquita está inspirada en la arquitectura islámica persa del período de Safavid con elementos derivados de otras culturas musulmanas. La incorporación de los diseños arquitectónicos de Malasia, Persia y Árabe-Islámica, la entrada principal a la mezquita está diseñada a semejanza de puertas de edificios públicos en la Persia musulmana.
Jonker Street: la calle central de Chinatown que tiene tiendas de ropa y artesanías, así como restaurantes. La mejor parte de la calle Jonker es el mercado nocturno los viernes y sábados que vende de todo, desde sabrosas golosinas hasta recuerdos baratos.
La iglesia de Cristo construida por los holandeses cuando tomaron posesión de Malacca de los portugueses, es una de las estructuras más definitorias de Malacca. Situado a lo largo de Jalan Gereja (también conocida como Church Street), es un edificio de color rojo ladrillo reconocible al instante con una enorme cruz blanca en la parte superior. Sentado frente a Stadhuys, Christ Church fue construida en 1753 para celebrar un siglo de ocupación holandesa. El interior de la catedral tiene bancas hechas a mano de 20 años de edad, faroles decorativos y placas que honran a los soldados holandeses y locales.
Las ruinas de la iglesia de San Pablo se encuentran en la cima de la colina de San Pablo. Construido en el lugar del último palacio del sultán malaccano Istana, fue construido por el capitán portugués (noble) Duarte Coelho, en agradecimiento a la Virgen María por salvarle la vida durante una tormenta en el mar. Sin techo y cubierto de helechos, originalmente se llamaba Nossa Senhora da Annunciada (Nuestra Señora de la Anunciación). Aunque ha estado en ruinas por más de 150 años, es un hermoso y vívido santuario (alcanzado después de un empinado tramo de escaleras) ubicado cerca de los restos del Fuerte A ’Famosa.
Caminar a lo largo del río Melaka es una excelente manera de ver las vistas de Melaka a un ritmo pausado, con comodidad y sin romper el banco. El río Melaka es donde comenzó la ciudad y ha jugado un papel clave en la colorida historia de Melaka.
La mezquita del estrecho de Malaca es una de las más hermosas de Malasia. También se conoce como Masjid Selat Melaka, ya que se encuentra en el estrecho más ocupado y más largo. Está construido en una isla artificial, Pulau Melaka. Cuando la marea está alta, la mezquita parece que está flotando en el océano. La ceremonia de apertura fue realizada por Yang di-Pertuan Agong Syed Sirajuddin Syed Putra Jamalullail el 24 de noviembre de 2006. El paisaje del camino de entrada fue impresionante cuando se puede ver la costa completa de la ciudad de Malaca.

I had with my grandson a full day private trip to the historic city of Malacca from Kuala Lumpur . . Our guide Chen picked us up from our hotel at 8:00 AM , he was excellent , helpful, and knowledgeable and did a great job showing us the Portuguese , Dutch, English , and Malay heritage of the city We had included lunch at a nice restaurant on the Malacca River which was great . The car was clean with a nice AC I highly recommend doing this trip

Terrible. We paid and did not eat. Everything was cold, tasteless, poorly cooked, and made from very low-quality products. I recommend not going.

I had such a great holiday thanks to Mugilan. He was a wonderful guide who made so much effort to take good pictures in such a hot weather. I got so many good pics that I bombarded my Instagram story instantly with pics taken in Melaka. He was also very knowledgeable on KL culture and history, all the info he told me were very interesting and hleped me understand Malaysian culture. It was a long ride to Melaka, so we started the tour earlier than planned, and that was the best choice👌 I got to go to Putrajaya Mosque first and then to Melaka. Did not experience that much traffic jam when going there. However, there was huge traffic jam when returning to KL. Mugilan let me turn on the songs I preferred while driving, so it was not a boring ride. Talking and listening to the music.. it was such a comfortable ride back. I strongly recommend you to ask for Mugilan if you don't want to miss the culture and also great pics in Melaka.

We went on this tour today as a family of three and really enjoyed our time exploring Malacca. Janice was a great guide who shared lots of interesting cultural information at just the right moments, patiently answered all of our questions, and gave us some useful suggestions on places to visit while staying in Putrajaya. We would definitely recommend this tour—just don’t forget to wear really comfortable shoes, as there’s a lot of walking!

Would highly recommend ForeverVacation and the Malacca Instagram Tour. We took the private tour for just the two of us as it provide a more intimate experience. My second day with the lovely Janice! Malacca is beautiful, and filled with history and for sure worth a visit , but,.. it’s a long drive from KL where I booked my trip from. While I dozed off in the car, I almost felt bad for Janice who had to drive that whole way ,.. but once again and she took the most beautiful pictures and explained me about the different sites we were visiting. Even though it was very hot walking around! I definitely recommend Malacca but keep in mind the drive back and forth is long. But Janice Thank You! 💕

Our Melaka Instagram Tour was a highlight for our stay in Kuala Lumpur. It was both an architecturally and culturally educational experience of the early Malaysian heritage. We would highly recommend Janice, our personal tour guide, who was exceptional due to her knowledge, humour, photographical skills and kindness which added to our overall time in Kuala Lumpur. They may cost a little more than other tour companies, however, their attention to detail and the services provided, you will understand why.
