El mercado de Maeklong es una 'atracción obligada' única que debe estar en el itinerario de cada visitante. Se llama 'Risky Market' porque hay una vía de tren que atraviesa directamente el centro del mercado. Literalmente, a los pocos segundos de que el tren pase por el mercado, los vendedores tienen que sacar sus mercancías, y ellas mismas, del camino. Los tiempos y movimientos de precisión de todos los involucrados son fascinantes de presenciar. El segundo mercado de este itinerario se encuentra en el mercado flotante de Damnoen Saduak. Si bien es auténtico y todavía utilizado por los lugareños, debido a su popularidad, se ha ocupado con los turistas. El mercado ferroviario de Maeklong es un mercado tradicional tailandés que vende verduras frescas, alimentos y frutas. Lo que hace que el mercado sea especial es que ocupa parte de una línea de tren. Algunas veces al día, hay un tren que pasa directamente por el mercado. Unos minutos antes de que llegue el tren, los vendedores bajan sus paraguas y alejan algunos de sus productos de las vías del tren. Algunos quedan en el suelo, con el tren pasando justo sobre ellos. Sorprendentemente, nada se daña ni se rompe, y tan pronto como el tren pasa, los vendedores vuelven a colocar sus mercancías en las vías y continúan normalmente (hasta que llega el próximo tren).
Famoso por sus mercados flotantes para turistas, Damnoen Saduak es el que encontrará en la literatura turística sobre Tailandia. Traiga su cámara para presenciar el río repleto de botes de madera rebosantes de frutas y verduras, que venden a las personas que están en tierra. La escena es colorida y ruidosa; tal como cabría esperar de un mercado tailandés. Está a sólo 100 km de Bangkok.

Espere en el vestíbulo del hotel 15 minutos antes de la hora de recogida programada. (La recogida en el hotel es de 30 a 60 minutos antes de la hora de salida del tour).

- La duración de los traslados es aproximada, la duración exacta dependerá de la hora del día y las condiciones del tráfico.

Ignore the negative reviews. This tour was absolutely worth it and ended up being one of the best tours we’ve ever taken! The company was very clear about everything from the beginning. A lot of the complaints in the reviews seem to come from people who didn’t read the instructions or expectations carefully. We knew exactly what to expect, and everything was delivered as promised. Our tour guide, Hady, was absolutely amazing. He went above and beyond throughout the entire day. You could tell he genuinely loves what he does and truly cares about making sure everyone has a great experience. His energy, enthusiasm, and attention to the group made the tour even more enjoyable. The tour itself was incredible, well organized, fun, and memorable from start to finish. The only thing worth mentioning is that while the itinerary lists the end time as 2:00 PM, that’s when the activities end. You still need to account for the drive back, which brought us closer to 4:00 PM because of traffic. That said, the return trip was actually quicker than we expected and wasn’t an issue at all. Overall, this was an excellent experience and one I would absolutely do again. I would take this tour 10 more times and would recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

Travel.to and from this location consumes.your whole day. Plus.the noise.and air pollution from long tail.biats is terrible. Find something else to do.

Nice overall, but the train ride is super boring. Maybe just go to the train market alone instead of this tour.

It was a good experience but it had become to touristy. Way too many people and a little hard to enjoy. But still had a good time with the experience. :-)

It was very touristic and the train ride was only interesting the last 5 minutes. A lot of souvenir vendors at the floating market. Don't forget to bargain.

Interesting day yesterday. This tour has a lot if driving. Our van was not the most comfortable (older van model). Most if us had stiff muscles by the end of the day. The boat ride was also shorter (about 10 minutes) than what we were told (20-25 minutes). It took about 3h30 to get back to our hotel.
