Bienvenido al Tour Judío Privado en São Paulo, dirigido por un guía experto que lo llevará en un viaje fascinante a través de la historia, la cultura y las tradiciones de la comunidad judía en la ciudad más grande de Brasil. En este recorrido de 5 horas, visitará lugares como la primera sinagoga de São Paulo, fundada en 1912 en el barrio de Bom Retiro, el tradicional barrio judío de Higienópolis y el Museo Judío de São Paulo, recientemente restaurado y reabierto al público con exposiciones modernas y emocionantes. También visitaremos una sinagoga de Beit Chabad y, para completar la experiencia, podrás disfrutar de una comida en un restaurante kosher (opcional). Durante el recorrido, el guía también le presentará otras atracciones turísticas y datos interesantes sobre la ciudad. Higienópolis es uno de los barrios más emblemáticos de São Paulo, conocido por sus fuertes vínculos con la comunidad judía. Desde mediados del siglo XX, se ha convertido en uno de los principales centros de la vida judía de la ciudad, hogar de una rica variedad de sinagogas, instituciones culturales y establecimientos kosher.  El barrio destaca por su elegante arquitectura, calles arboladas y ambiente acogedor. Con una población diversa, Higienópolis es el hogar de muchas familias judías que han contribuido significativamente al desarrollo cultural y social de la región. Además de las sinagogas, el barrio cuenta con escuelas hebreas, panaderías y restaurantes que siguen las tradiciones culinarias judías, proporcionando una experiencia auténtica para residentes y visitantes. Esta combinación de historia, cultura y tradición hace de Higienópolis un lugar especial para quien quiera aprender más sobre la herencia judía en São Paulo. 
El Memorial del Holocausto de São Paulo es un espacio de memoria y reflexión dedicado a preservar la historia y las lecciones del Holocausto. Inaugurado en noviembre de 2017, está ubicado en el último piso del Memorial de la Inmigración Judía, en la antigua sinagoga de Bom Retiro, uno de los barrios más tradicionales de la comunidad judía de São Paulo.  El memorial cuenta con una colección interactiva y audiovisual que incluye fotografías, vídeos, objetos de época e instalaciones artísticas. Estos elementos narran, de forma sensible y educativa, los horrores vividos por millones de judíos durante la Segunda Guerra Mundial, promoviendo la conciencia de los peligros del antisemitismo y la intolerancia.   La visita es gratuita, previa reserva, y ofrece una experiencia impactante que fomenta la empatía, el respeto y la valoración de los derechos humanos.
El Museo Judío de São Paulo (MUJ) es una institución dedicada a preservar y difundir la historia, la cultura y las tradiciones judías en Brasil, promoviendo el diálogo con el contexto brasileño contemporáneo. El museo ocupa el edificio de la histórica Sinagoga Beth-El, construida entre 1927 y 1932 en estilo bizantino, con siete lados que simbolizan los siete días de la Creación y las siete ramas de la menorá. El acervo del MUJ está compuesto por aproximadamente 2.000 piezas, entre objetos, documentos, fotografías y relatos orales que narran la trayectoria de la comunidad judía en Brasil, desde la llegada de los primeros inmigrantes hasta la actualidad. El museo también ofrece exposiciones interactivas y educativas que abordan temas como la inmigración judía, el Holocausto y la contribución de los judíos a la sociedad brasileña. Además, cuenta con biblioteca especializada, tienda, cafetería y espacios para eventos y actividades culturales. 
Durante el recorrido judío por São Paulo, los viajeros tendrán la oportunidad de visitar algunas de las sinagogas históricas y representativas de la ciudad. Visitaremos algunos de estos templos desde el exterior, observando sus fachadas arquitectónicas y conociendo un poco de su historia e importancia para la comunidad. Además, dependiendo de la disponibilidad el día del tour, será posible visitar el interior de una sinagoga en funcionamiento, experimentando más de cerca el ambiente espiritual y cultural del lugar. Las visitas internas están sujetas a autorización previa y al calendario de actividades religiosas. Esta experiencia proporciona un contacto auténtico con la herencia judía en São Paulo.

David, our tour guide, knows São Paulo, in general, and Jewish São Paulo, in particular, like the back of his hand. We visited the former and current Jewish neighborhoods and their synagogues and the immigration museum with its Holocaust memorial. Over the course of the tour, we learned a great deal about the history of Jews in São Paulo and Jewish life in the city in the present. David was very friendly and accommodating. We also enjoyed the culinary aspect of the tour, purchasing challah at a kosher bakery and eating felafel. Regrettably, there wasn’t enough time to visit the Jewish Museum; we’ll have to visit it on our own. We highly recommend this tour.

My trip started with arranged airport transfer driver Moacir Braun. Very organized, prompt, and friendly with all the amenities- charger gum, water, and snacks. Doris picked me up from my hotel and she is a very knowledgeable, funny, and lovely person to spend a few hours with. She is knowledgeable about Sao Paolo, the Jewish community, and the Jewish history. Gave lots of great recommendations for places to see and places to eat.

We had an excellent tour in Sao Paolo with Adi. He showed us Sao Paolo attractions as well as Jewish history and neighborhoods. We learned about his own family and their experiences in Brazil. We had lunch at an Israeli restaurant and tried genuine Brazil chocolate
