We had a great day on the Nadi Heritage Tour. Loved visiting the Hindu temple, the orchid gardens, the local markets, and the village — each stop gave us a real feel for Fiji’s culture and history. The only downside was a bit of a hard sell at the village, but overall it was a fantastic experience and a memorable day.
We saw so many interesting things. Our guide, Neil was wonderful. He explained everything and answered our questions.
We were picked up on time and from the start our driver was warm and welcoming Anand is an older gentleman with tears of knowledge and experience and our tour with him was exceptional
Very informative and diverse. An excellent view of how the rest of the islands lives and history of original Fijians. Anand was a well read and helpful guide; could not be happier.
What made this tour/excursion so great was our tour driver Navi! Hands down the best tour driver! He was very knowledgeable, had a great sense of humor and really made the experience personalized! You will be missing out if you have anyone other than Navi!
Our tour guide Mohammad was fantastic. He had a charismatic manner in informing us about the history and culture of Nadi. He went beyond our expectations and when we were late it was of no consequence to him.
Great private tour with our driver/tour guide Jason. He picked us up at our cruise port which we thought was worth the added fee. First stop was the Hindu temple where he wrapped sarongs around us to cover our legs. Beautiful temple so colorful. Was not crowded yet since it was still early. Next stop was the Nadi markets and produce markets. So many fruits and vegs and all so colorful. Next stop sleeping giant orchid farm. Boardwalk path or well marked paths to follow. Very cool and serene here. Afterwards, they serve you a cool refreshing tropical juice drink. Last stop was the oldest Nadi village. Buildings were all very quaint. We never felt rushed at any stop. The whole tour was right about 5 hours with Jason dropping us back at the cruise port. Just realized we never took a pic with him and wished we had.
Great 1/2 day Nadi discovery trip. Had a great driver who gave us a lot of information during our tour. Very friendly and a very comfy van for the 6 of us exclusively. Lots to see, town, temple, shopping , market, visit to a genuine Village with a great guide. Also some money from tour cost goes to the Village and its people.
Interesting to see the town , temples and village . Missed the overlook part of tour . Remember to have socks for temple.
An absolute must for visitors to Nadi. Organise through hotel tour desk. Pickup 5pm by small coach. At village a guided tour shows aspects of village life including pottery, tapa cloth making, basket weaving and other village life. A tasty lovo buffet dinner followed by a meke (action dancing) and other entertainment follows. Back to hotel before 9pm.
