Combine un recorrido a pie por Tesalónica con una de las mejores cosas que hacer en la ciudad, degustando auténticas delicias locales. Pruebe comidas griegas imperdibles como el tradicional "koulouri" (pan circular), bougatsa (pastelería con varios rellenos), pittas, sándwiches rellenos y también dulces locales. Reúnase en el puerto de Tesalónica y luego diríjase a una antigua panadería, una joya escondida que se mantiene durante tres generaciones, para la primera parada. Pruebe algunos pasteles y bocadillos típicos griegos para el desayuno y luego diríjase al mercado abierto de la ciudad. A través de pequeñas calles y callejones llenos de historia, llegarás al "Kapani" (abierto de lunes a sábado) un lugar vibrante, colorido e histórico. Una vez que termine de pasear por el mercado, pruebe comida callejera muy original y tenga la oportunidad de escuchar algunas historias interesantes de su guía. ¡Un recorrido memorable que no debe perderse y que combina delicias culinarias con cultura! Pantelis was very knowledgeable about the history of Thessaloniki. He took us to several nice locations to taste local foods and coffee. He was sympathetic to the heat of the day and tried to keep us in the shade while he talked.

We loved this tour! Our small group of 4 learned all about Greek food and culture while walking around the city. Highlights includes Bougasta (Greek breakfast pastry) with sweet and savory fillings and soutzoukakia (spiced fried meatballs with lamb and beef).

My guide, Pantelis was a great guy, very knowledgeable about street food, local and the regional area. I was interested in not just the street food but also the local history and culture. Pantelis very easily handled my questions and pointed out many interesting historical area and gave me the cultural perspective of the sites, their restoration and in some cases why they weren’t restored. The food was excellent, especially since I now have had hotel food and other tourist presented meals. Pantelis was very generous with his time to show me around. I should also say that my flight was delayed and Pantelis adjusted the time of the tour to accommodate since it was a solo tour.

This was a great tour! Pantelis is the kind of guide who instantly makes you feel comfortable. While my tour ended up being essentially an private tour, even if the group were larger, I’m sure he’d still make it feel completely personal and bespoke. It was the perfect way way to get oriented in the city while trying truly authentic Greek food. Nothing felt touristy or rushed. Later that night, when I mentioned the places we visited / food we ate to local Greek friends, they all agreed it sounded exactly like how they grew up eating! If you want an authentic and fun introduction to the city that feels more like hanging out with a friend than being on a tour, I highly recommend this one!
