El recorrido comenzará a partir de este punto. Nuestro experto y guía local lo llevará a experimentar la excelente comida local mientras visita algunas de las atracciones más importantes de Roma. Lo sacaremos de la ruta turística durante este tour a pie de comida y vino por Campo dè Fiori y el área del Ghetto Judío. El punto de encuentro es en Piazza Mattei, una pequeña plaza cerca del Altar de la Patria.
Una pequeña calle nos llevará a la calle principal del ghetto judío, un área elegida por el Papa en 1555 para albergar a más de 7000 judíos, obligados a vivir allí hasta finales del siglo XIX. Aprenda con nuestro guía experto todos los hechos y la historia detrás del gueto judío y pruebe la especialidad local más famosa, las alcachofas fritas judío-romanas. También visitarás la sinagoga desde fuera.
Después de haber probado la alcachofa "a la giudìa", uno de los platos típicos de la comunidad judía en Roma, nos dirigiremos hacia los distritos de Parione y Regola. En la llamada calle Chiavari, nos detendremos en una de las panaderías romanas más famosas, una empresa familiar de 1824, donde disfrutaremos de una excelente pizza delgada y crujiente, y descubriremos por qué la margherita ha sido nombrada en este camino. Luego, una selección de los mejores embutidos y quesos, será acompañada por una copa de vino local. Como parte de las atracciones turísticas, aprenderá sobre el Teatro de Pompeo, escondido entre los edificios modernos. Una cena rica, con platos típicos romanos, entre las ruinas de este antiguo teatro es el punto culminante de esta excursión.
Antes de detenerse para admirar esta plaza, saboreará un delicioso tiramisú como postre. Admira la belleza de la Fuente de los Cuatro Ríos de Bernini, que sostiene un antiguo obelisco egipcio sobre una roca hueca, coronada por cuatro figuras de mármol que simbolizan los cuatro ríos principales del mundo: el Ganges en Asia, el Río de la Plata en América, el Danubio en Europa y el Nilo en África.

Come hungry!!! It was fantastic, fun and delicious. Maria was a great guide and every stop was delicious. So nice connecting with lots of different travelers throughout the night, too.
Plentiful food and drink. You will not end the tour hungry. While a lot of walking, there were enough stops to sit a bit. Very interesting history. Able see many sights that were unexpected. HIGHLY RECOMMEND. Fabriziana was FABULOUS tour guide.

I love food tours but this was the best one ever. Small group size (we had 8/max is 12) and our tour guide Fabretzia (sp) was wonderful. The Jewish ghetto area is so interesting. If u can do the tour not on the Jewish sabbath. But otherwise it was perfect. And the history along with the food was amazing. So much great food and wine/beer from beginning to end. The only thing I might add is a Aperol spritz. It is so Italian. (But not sure u could have added one more thing to the tour). Fabretzio made the tour and small group size and fabulous people really make it. I also like the 6:00 time slot. (Vs 5:00)
This experience was amazing. I felt that it was well worth the money spent. It was both informative and experiential. The guide was very knowledgeable about the Jewish Ghetto and I learn so much.
