Recorrido gastronómico callejero vegano por Hanoi y Train Street

Our vegan food tour with Chip was good fun! We were in a small group of five and it was great to get to know the other travellers. All the food we tasted at the various locations were so delicious - even my husband who is not vegan enjoyed the food. Train Street was an experience and I guess we were lucky to have the chance to be there as the train came through as I believe this activity won’t be continuing after the end of this year. Chip was very professional and organised, made sure we all stayed together and kept us safe crossing the roads 🙂 It was interesting to learn more about local eating culture and to discover some great vegan options. I would highly recommend this tour, even if you’re not vegan!

This was a fantastic food tour with Vy. Vegan/vegetarian with many delicious dishes. Easy walking between stops, so much food to eat. I would definitely recommend.

It was a very nice experience. I probably would not have gotten a chance to try any of these delicious foods had I not done the Vegan food tour. If you are a vegetarian or Vegan then definitely try this tour. It was also very informative.

Excellent tour with Vy from Get your guide. The food was amazing and Vy was very informative, interesting, fun and friendly. We would never have found the restaurant without Vy. Finished the tour with a visit to train street, a must see.

Just came back from what is now my all time favourite walking tour (and please see my other reviews to understand how many various ones we have done!) and we are both buzzing! What a surprise of an evening which in truth, I wasn't sure how good it might be. We were incredibly fortunate to have only two other couples join us who were both so warm, chatty and welcoming which makes a huge difference for any tour. That said our incomparable guide Vy, was the star of the show and it was down to her that everyone got on so well and the evening was such a success. Bearing in mind that whilst this tour around the quite mad/hectic/crazy Hanoi was all new to us, I am sure Vy has walked these streets so many times, but her enthusiasm, professionalism, charm, wit and sheer strength of character set the tone for what was a truly memorable night and her energy made the whole experience something magical. We visited so many restaurants, some of which were just tiny but all with absolutely delicious food from Vietnam and each plate was tasty, fresh and interesting (see below for full list!). We ended on the Train tracks and watched with a drink as the train rolled by... just incredible! I would not hesitate in recommending this tour and if you're lucky enough to be guided by Vy, wow, you're in for a treat! We had an amazing time on this tour and I am so glad we booked it for our first night in Hanoi. The food was sooooooo good. Our guide, Chip was the perfect host - she taught us a lot about Vietnamese food and customs and was really friendly and kind. It was great value for money. We loved the train street experience and getting to eat at local places that we wouldn't have gone to otherwise. I'd give the tour more than 5 stars if I could ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

It was such a great experienced. I am travelling solo and I actually signed up because I wanted to get in touch with others, however I was the only person joining the tour. If you’re lucky to have Chip as a guide, she is the loveliest person. I had an amazing time and learned so much about Vietnamese culture. The food was amazing and made me feel more confident to try new Vietnamese dishes. Thank you Chip for the great experience and being so sweet! ✨

Great experience! I got to try foods I would not otherwise have tried as a vegan. I was the only one who booked for the group tour so I got a personal tour from Sarah. She was very pleasant to chat with. I enjoyed the tour and definitely glad I booked it.

The tour was very good! Our tour guide Khoi was very nice and knew exactly where to go for good food. He also taught us useful things, for example about the traffic and the meaning of the street names. Khoi always explained to us how the food was made, and we could also watch how it was prepared. He also told us a lot about the cultural differences between North and South Vietnam. It was not just about getting to know Vietnam better through food, but also through his stories.

Our guide Sarah was amazing. Food was great and it was definitely worth it. Got to learn a lot about the language, customs and history.
