Pase más allá de las rutas turísticas habituales y explore el alma auténtica de la ciudad mientras deambula por las encantadoras callejuelas de Bari Vecchia con un guía local experto. En el camino, descubrirás lugares pintorescos, conocerás a productores locales apasionados y experimentarás el cálido ambiente del sur de Italia. Más que un simple recorrido a pie, este es un viaje a las tradiciones culinarias de Apulia. Podrá degustar la emblemática focaccia estilo Bari, una selección de carnes curadas locales y quesos artesanales o los legendarios Spaghetti all’Assassina según disponibilidad, acompañados de una copa de vino tinto local. La experiencia continúa con un panzerotto recién frito y termina con una nota dulce con helado artesanal casero.

La Basílica de San Nicolás es un importante destino de peregrinación tanto para católicos romanos como para cristianos ortodoxos y una de las atracciones más importantes.
La catedral es la sede del arzobispo de Bari-Bitonto, dedicada a San Sabino, obispo de Canosa, cuyas reliquias fueron traídas aquí en el siglo IX. Aquí podrá apreciar las murallas romanas subterráneas llamadas Succorpo.
La plaza siempre ha representado el corazón de las actividades comerciales y administrativas de la ciudad debido a la presencia del mercado de la ciudad (actualmente no en esta área) y del palazzo Sedile, que es el punto de referencia histórico del Ayuntamiento de Bari. Hoy, para los ciudadanos de Bari es un punto de encuentro insustituible.
El castillo normando Swebian alberga la colección de modelos de yeso y exposiciones temporales de arte.
Piazza Ferrarese siempre ha sido uno de los puntos de acceso al casco antiguo que, con sus calles estrechas, callejones y pequeñas aberturas, se extiende desde Piazza Ferrarese - Piazza Mercantile hasta el castillo Normanno-Svevo. Durante la reciente restauración, que involucró no solo a la plaza sino también a los edificios circundantes, salió a la luz un pequeño tramo de la antigua Via Appia - Traiana, construida por los romanos a principios del siglo II d.C.

Great way to see Bari and discover some spots to check out. We did this within hours of arriving and even though it was really hot- Giancarlo ( our guide) created moments to refresh . Really worth it!!!!

Bike tour with Eleonora and Toma. Highly recommended. Eleonora is super nice; she took us on a very interesting tour of old Bari up to the street of orecchiette. Being a large group, we also had the support of Toma, who closed the group and waited for the slower ones. Highly recommended.

My sister and I enjoyed our tour very much! Giancarlo was a fantastic guide - incredibly knowledgeable about Bari and its history. He went out of his way to answer all questions and even helped us locate particular places in Bari from old family photographs (from the 1940’s and 1950’s) that we had brought with us. It was a very special day for us, and one my sister and I will always remember. Thank you again Giancarlo and team!

I am always interested in doing a bike tour wherever I go and Bari was no exception. It is a great way to see a larger portion of a city and even some hidden gems. Giancarlo made it fun, he was insightful and very personable. We loved seeing the local market, the residential area where real Barese live and getting to nibble on traditional food of the area. I highly recommend this tour especially for your first day in Bari - get the lay of the land and then venture out on your own. Grazie mille Giancarlo for a fun day!

We booked the bike tour, but were asked to move to time that didn't work. We did the identical walking food tour (with Anna) and took a bike out later for a self ride. That worked out well. The food was characteristic of Bari and delicious. 2 glasses of wine too. And our bike riding was at our quicker pace! Velo tours is a great outfit. Everyone was friendly and helpful. 5 stars.
Recommended by our hotel, we had the option of a private or small group tour starting in 30 mins. We are happy we joined the small group as Quancarlos shared history, recent and ancient, with enthusiasm and accuracy. Great bikes, convenient location, thoughtful route, and a great guide; all the ingredients for perfect excursion in Bari.
