The tour was excellent and well paced! We learned the local history and tried some really tremendous foods. The only thing I could really suggest improving is the pricing. We've taken food tours in St.John's, NL and Charlottetown, PEI, and they were half as much for a similar experience. Even still, this is a great way to see the city and find some food to enjoy.
We had a great experience with Emme showing us delicious food all around Halifax! We are from New England and no stranger to fresh seafood and we were blown away by how delicious everything was. The lobster roll was not skimping out. Seafood chowder was maybe the best I ever had. My boyfriend does not eat oysters so he was allowed to substitute for a beer instead, both were cold crisp and delicious. The donair was new to us and we were both pleasantly surprised. Finally the ice cream came in a wide variety of flavors and was the perfect end. The entire time Emme is sharing knowledge about Halifax’s history, industry, and growth. We had a wonderful time and would recommend this as a MUST.
Emine was knowledgeable and friendly. Our group was facing a raining morning in Halifax, and this did not bother us at all. Great time with conversations, laughing and of course: great food! My favourite one was the Chowder, but everything was so tasteful! I highly recommend this tour!! :)

Our guide was knowledgeable and friendly. Food was more fish centric than we expected. It was all good.
We have been on quite a few food tours and ‘this one I felt was just average. I think the price was high in comparison to the food we received. The guide was good and engaging and we enjoyed the experience.
