Disfrute de los deliciosos sabores de Bélgica en este tour gastronómico gratuito, donde un experto guía local lo llevará por Gante para probar las especialidades locales y contarle la historia detrás de su sabor. Las numerosas muestras están incluidas y el tour está basado en propinas, así que no olvide traer dinero en efectivo para recompensar al guía si lo disfrutó! En cuanto a la cerveza, o bien recibirás un vale para una cerveza gratis en GRUUT Brewery, que podrás disfrutar a tu antojo después del recorrido, o bien te llevaremos a la propia cervecería. Esto depende del horario de apertura de la cervecería.

Itinerario
Nos reunimos en Hostel Upperlink para una breve introducción a nuestra cultura gastronómica, seguida de una degustación de las mejores papas fritas de la ciudad en Frituur Tartaar. Una vez que nuestro guía le cuente la historia de las papas fritas, ¡nunca más las llamará papas fritas!
La siguiente parada es Ooost, el centro regional de productos locales, para hablaros del famoso jamón Ganda y probar un delicioso caramelo local que tratamos de mantener oculto al resto del mundo.
El siguiente en el menú es una golosina de chocolate, hecha a mano en Gent. Nuestro guía le contará la historia del chocolate y le ofrecerá un praliné con la forma del santo cordero de Jan van Eyck.
Lo siguiente en el menú son los gofres, una golosina popular desde la época medieval. Te contaremos los orígenes de la comida y te ofreceremos una degustación.
Terminamos el recorrido con un ticket para una copa gratis de la famosa cerveza local Gruut, que se puede disfrutar justo después del recorrido cuando la cervecería abre por la tarde.

It was so much fun and interesting details what Jerke told us, could have continued the tour couple more hours! Not only gastronomy but also facts and history. It was just embarassing that the other visitors didn’t leave any tip for the guide. Please always take some cash with you!
It was only me and my husband, so the original tour was cancelled. But the guide Hans offered us a private tour for 50 euro. Hans was so nice and friendly! The tour was very interesting and we had A LOT to eat!😅No need for lunch that day!😅Best was the cheese and mustard in the end with 3 kinds of beer!😊
