Visitaremos el lugar popular nista de nuestra ciudad: el parque que lleva el nombre de 28Guardias. Hay algunos objetos históricos como la catedral, los monumentos de la gloria, el museo. Te contaré la historia del parque, la ciudad y describiré todos los objetos, te ayudaré a tomar fotografías.

The tour was ok but nothing to write home about. It was more of a city tour with a stop for lunch then it was an actual food tour. The descriptions were a bit misleading as well. For example, the visit to Rahat chocolate factory was just a walk through a store where we could buy chocolate if we wanted to. There was no taste testing or sampling there. We did a few samplings at the Green market and then ate at a restaurant but that was all. For almost $500, we expected much more. Our tour guide was really sweet though and we learned a lot. I would recommend this tour to learn about the history and culture of Almaty. But if you're wanting a food tour, pass on this one. Stop by the Green Market and have a meal at Bauyrdaq yourself. You'll have the same experience for hundreds of dollars less.

This was the first activity we did on our kazhaksthan trip, and Gulzar our guide, made us feel at home. She took us on a walking tour around the city in and around the panfilov street while telling us about the history of the place. After lots of walking more than an hour or two, we had a great kazak lunch with all the authentic local dishes. A nice way to start our trip.
