I had an amazing time , Lurch our bus driver was full of wicked cool fun facts . He had some pretty cool stories. All the staff where super nice and helpful . Id absolutely recommend Boston Summer Nights trolley tour and River Cruise to anyone thinking about going. Take your friends and family of all ages they will love it.
Great tour it is a long tour between the trolley, the cruise and then the trolley back you get your moneys worth just know it almost lasts 3 hours
We were on a cruise ship that was diverted to boston. Since this was an unplanned stop, we had no excursions booked. I was able to find this on tripadvisor the day we docked, so we were able to see the city. It was cold and rainy, but the open airbus had shades that allowed us to stay warm and dry it was a nice overview of the city of boston.
Boat ride was not good and captain completed early and was hanging on river without any announcement, city tour was entertaining and driver engaged all the passengers
We had a great Summer Nights tour with Old Town Trolley and Lurch. The trolley and boat rides were both great. Lurch's narration was really well done and a good mix of history, culture, music, and humor. The narrator on the boat was excellent as well. The views of the City from the Charles River are really spectacular. It's a great 2-hour tour for couples, families, or singles!

Enjoyable city tour and Charles River tour. Easy parking at the Marriott at the wharf. Sound system on boat was poor - Very difficult to hear tour guide commentary. Trolley driver was very enthusiastic, and he made the tour quite enjoyable. Good experience for both visitors and locals.
This one was easy to enjoy. Just the right amount of information with a bit of “corny” puns made this a fun evening. I liked that it wasn’t too intense since it was an evening event but I still learned some great facts.

Highly recommend. Totally worth the price. Awesome views, interesting history, incredible staff. Kenny narrated the river cruise while tending the bar at the same time, flawlessly.
It was great to be on the Charles River, and some of the historic information was interesting for someone who had not been to Boston before. But the River cruise guide was disappointing. She was negative especially about some of the beautiful architecture. Yes, some people don’t like brutalist architecture but saying the Boston Law School building is the second ugliest building in Boston doesn’t help people understand, see the beauty or know that the law school has programs for all. I guess I felt that irony is not so great when talking about a city.
The bus driver was trying hard to be entertaining, but was not very informative about the city. Sit near the front of the bus because the speakers in the back are just too loud. The boat tour was much better. Kenny was informative, responsive, and constrained. I'm glad we went, but half of trip was not desirable.
