The operator did not show up or respond to my messages at all. We waited almost a hour at the designated location.(s) as they booking has three pick up spots listed. This is either a scam or the company no longer exists.
Such a fun way to explore the city. Great guide that provides infon about the city, but also time enough for fun. Hour and a half flew by , can only recommend!
Thank you so much for the lovely review. Lisbon trully is a fun place to know by Sitway, expecially with such a fun group :-). We're happy you enjoyed the tour.
Similiar to another user I turned up, no one showed tried both numbers (calling and texting) and stayed an hour at a nearby restaurant. Also tried the website. Now trying to get the booking company to refund. Based on the other reviews I'm guessing they've gone bust but still showing as active. Wouldn't the best idea there be to shut down the business with a message and maybe reopen in the future.
Hi, We're so sorry for what happened back then. Indeed, Sitgo wasn't operational at that time (since the pandemic) and the calendars were supposed to be closed. By now Sitgo is open again under new management/ownership and ready to hopefully take you on a tour in the future. Kind regards, Sitgo
They had to cancel. I understand but didn’t get email text till after I looked for them because cannot always get WiFi as a tourist
Fantastic concept, better than walking as you. An see places faster. The only issue is that in August Lisbon is crowded and not always easy to slalom around the walkers. Good fun with friends, just riding was exciting ! No pictures as riding this thing and taking pics is dangerous ;-) I was riding more than sightseeing...
Hello Pierre, Thank you very much for your review! We hope to see you back to Lisbon enjoying the sitways in one of our other tour locations. Thank you, Gonçalo Martins
The Ieda was our guide and we loved it. He told us many stories of Portugal that we didn’t know. Being with my kids (14 and 19 years old) was the best way to get to know a little bit more of Lisbon in a more fun way!
A great fun way to get around the old city. A slight pain in the pelvic region for some time after the ride, but it was totally worth it 🤣 Hope that it will be possible to buy a sitgo - it would be great fun to own one! 😎 -even more fun if it would run faster 🚀
Hello 104grethes, Thank you for your reviews. We're happy that not only you've enjoyed the ride, but also want to buy a sitway for yourself 😅. Be careful with the speed...safety first 😉 hope we can see you back in Lisbon again someday! Sitgo regards,
On my recent visit to Lisbon with our football team (16 adults) i organised a Sitgo tour of the Old town Alfama district. 11 of us presented for this excursion on a lovely Sunday morning at the end of March. I had booked on line and the Sitgo guys were very accommodating as i couldn't give exact numbers. We were given a 10 minute training slot and by 1130 we were off accompanied by our guide Pepe and our camera man Goncalo. It was the best fun trip i had experienced for some time as we wondered off into the old town. Pepe was excellent with all his knowledge of Lisbon and we had time for a quick Chocolate and Liquor stop on our way. The fun was great and we even sang a few verses of song as we enjoyed our sitways. Basically just to explain a bit about the sitway these are a form of Sedgeways but here you are in a sitting position. They are easy to get used too and you'll be up and running in no time. The highest speed is around 16 klms per hour and the hills of the old town were negotiated easily as we made our way as far as the gates of St. George's Castle. Finally i dont think this would work without the excellent input of our Sitgo guides Pepe and Goncalo who kept the whole 90 minutes relaxed and enjoyable and for € 25 money well spent. Thank You guys
Hello Seanie_13, We have no words to thank you for the amazing review! I can tell that Peppe and Gonçalo had a great time as well, as they were talking about the tour you did for some days. We hope to see you and the whole team back in Lisbon again someday with all this beautiful energy you have that was possible to see from the videos. This is exactly what we expect our clients to have...loads of fun! Sitgo regards,
My teenage daughter and I took the Old Town Tour. Although we had already walked around it, it was really informative and interesting to learn more about the history and buildings in the area. The sitgos were so much fun. We were a little apprehensive at first but they were easy to get the hang of, although my bottom was a little sore af the end! A really fun hour and a half. I would definitely recommend - the reactions of other tourists as we wheeled past also made us laugh!
Hello katerT7392MC, I remember seeing your photos with your daughter after the tour. They were so nice! We would like to thank you for your honest review and we are also happy you both had a great time, even for a second round at Alfama. It was delightful to know you were willing to learn more about our city. We hope to see you back in Lisbon someday. Sitgo regards,
I did an old town tour with the guide Pedro. Happy and patient. Thank you for showing the link between Portugal and India, and showing the places where the Bollywood movie was recorded. I highly recommend the tour, very fun. Thank you Pedro, thank you sitgo for the tour Rashid
